I bought a used hot tub from Tim Honey of Honey Spas.  I paid $2000.  He assured me it would be a reconditioned tub in excellent working condition.  It never worked right from the day it was installed.  I turned it on and pieces fell off and were floating around the hot tub, the side wall was cracked, the blower pump worked for 5  minutes and then tripped the circuit breaker, the filter was missing, there was no debris basket in the filter return.  I called Honey Spas and Tim sent his daughter out on a day I was at work.  When I came home there was a note taped to my hot tub cover saying "Spa working correctly".  I don't think the cover was even removed.  I tried to fix it.  Put in a filter cartridge.  Finally it was not working at all.  I called Tim Honey who said he could come out in a week or 2 and it would cost $95 per hour to look at it, or fix it.  I didn't think I should invest any more money with Honey spas so I called another hot tub company who looked it over and told me I was totally taken advantage of.  It is going to cost about $1000 to fix it.  He found it was not wired correctly, the timer didn't work, all the jets were shot, the blower is shot, etc.  I am so disappointed in humanity at this time.  How does someone treat others this way?

My first issue was I disconvered I had no filter cartridge installed.  I immediately came into your shop and Tim told Ellyn to give me a filter cartrigde to intall.  I also told Tim that there were multiple parts that had come off and were floating aorund my hot tub.  His exact words to his wife were "What the hell did we sell her?"  I then infomed him the blower did not work.  He said he would send his daughter out to check it out.  Before she came I placed all the dislodged parts into a plastic bag and taped them to the cover.  WHen I returned home from work, I found the bad still staped to the cover, the blower still not working and a note taped to the cover saying the hot tub works fine.  I finally decided to get an outside company to look at it since more problems were arising.  I called Neversink Spas and he told me the blower was shot, all the jets were broken and will continue to fall apart.  He also told me that the lines to the blower would fill with water and create a terrible bacterial problem and I should empty the tub and not use it.  The hot tub also was not wired correctly.  I was appalled.  I now have to have my reconditioned hot tub from Honey Spas re-reconditined.

If you are considering doing any business with Honey Spas do research.  You do not have to believe me.  There are multiple poor reviews about his companies under their current names and past names.  I have heard he has changed the names of his companies several times to avoid law suits.

We are sorry to hear that you regret having purchased a used spa as with no warranty, neither, expressed or implied.  Which, was clearly disclosed and you accepted terms in writing, no less than 3 times.  One of which the letters were almost 1” as to make sure no misunderstanding would occur.

 The Honey Companies are committed to providing the highest quality products and/or service that is reasonably possible.

The structure of the company has understandably become more complicated., business relationships have evolved as has the legal and financial structure of our companies.

 We are glad to hear that you are comfortable with the service provided to you by your new service company and wish you happiness and success in the future.

 We are also please to know that the brand new spa we provided for Mrs. Ross and her husband has been functioning for years with out any problems.
