I am a new agent and was looking for ways to find good leads. I received an e-mail from Housevalues.com and spoke to a salesperson who tried to pressure me to sign up, that I would get the first month free, and could cancel without penalty. I read the contract and didn't like it.
The salesman came up with the name and contact information of a realtor who used their service and had nothing but great things to say about it. After I spoke to him, I decided to try them. I received about 10 leads which didn't pan out, didn't have a phone number, and didn't return my e-mails (the ones that didn't get returned because of the address being bad).
When I tried to cancel the service after one month, one of their managers played the legal pressure game and reminded me about their early termination fee of of what you owed for the rest of the 1-year contract. It would cost me a little over $7,000.00 to get out of their scam whereas I would spenda little over $5000, 00 for the whole year.
They are a serious rip-off and no one should use them. I want to be involved an any class action lawsuit that comes against them and I'm going to close out the account that they are trying to debit my monthly payment of $484.00 from.

I have just signed up yesterday and got a bogus lead within hours. I am cancelling today. There are protections for consumers under the laws in the state of California. I will get a full refund or I will have them in court.
