H&R Block Peace of Mind, Scam, Burbank California
H&R Block offers a "peace of mind" where you pay an extra fee and they claim to take responsibility for any forms that are not filed and penalties. Funny thing, I just recieved a letter in the mail claiming that I owe $4,000 in back taxes and penalties for a form that was never filed by their office. At first the accountant said it would handled but instead she disappeared and H&R Block has yet to resolve the issue. They are attempting not to honor their agreement for the peace of mind.
DO NOT USE H&R BLOCK TO FILE YOUR TAXES! You'll have a better peace of mind with a legitimate tax professional.
