Do not purchase the Orchard's Credit Card Insurance. They will not cover you in case of unemployment or disability. They will only take your money and you will get nothing in return but a big headache!
You will have to fill out form after form and have doctor's certify the note and employer's sign and date and YOU WILL GET NOTHING! THEY WILL NOT CANCEL YOUR BALANCE BUT YOU GIVE
YOU A BIGGER HEADACHE WHEN YOU NEED THEM!!!! DON'T DO IT..
STAY AWAY FROM ORCHARD CREDIT CARD ........OR YOU WILL BE VERY SORRY!

My story makes no sense then you have never deal with Orchard bank. You are free to talk to my own lawyer too that had the false bankruptcy removed from my credit report. Try this one Orchard Bank admits that an employee hid bankruptcy key instead of a promise to pay key. Via Phone last night an employee says its happened before.

Ann, First of all, I still cannot see the relationship between HSBC / Orchard and your reference to Bankruptcy. Please explain that one in detail. It simply makes no sense. Now, as far as making payments to HSBC, you DO NOT have to pay a fee to do so. You CHOOSE this OPTIONAL method whereby you pay a fee for a CONVENIENCE. There are at least 3 ways to pay your HSBC/Orchard account without incurring a fee. 1. Mail a check or money order! [However, you must allow sufficient mail time]. 2. Do online bill pay directly from your checking account. [Totally FREE at every bank I have dealt with]. 3. Register your account online at the HSBC / Orchard bank site and make a payment there. This is free as well. The problem is, that you are just too irresponsible to make a timely payment, and really cannot afford to have a credit card if you are only making minimum payments. Learn some responsibility, and do not pay your bills at the last minute, and your problems will go away. Guaranteed.
