Hyundai Motor Finance HMF Not releasing tittle on time Fountain Valley CA
I had lease Santa Fe till 8/30/2018. I purchase it by sending the required amount and the money was received on 8/12/18. I was told to wait 10 business days for the tittle to be released. I had to have a tittle before the end of the month to register the car. I called 10 business days later to find out that the tittle was released and will be put in the mail.
I waited few days. No title! I called on 8/30 again and was told the tittle was sent on 8/27/18. After that i had to borrow the car to get to work as i could not register Santa Fe. I was that the mail takes up to 7 days. So i called again on 9/5 and was assured that tittle is in the mail and tomorrow is the 7th day. According to my math from 8/27 to 9/5 is 7 business days but not to their math.
I called again on 9/6 it it was a disaster!. After the holg hold and conversation with supervisor named Sandra i was informed that the tittle was not released yet and if she is lucky it will be in 3 business days! Today is 19th business day since the confirmed receiving almost $22,000. They have the money, I dont have a car! They were lying to me all that time! Is this legal?! I think giving false information is a crime.
I don't know when i could use the paid off car. I want them to pay for my rental until i can register the car!
