When I first got to the website I made some research and found they were serious and they do have good prices.

So I went ahead and placed an order for an engagement ring of $500, applied the coupons and all and chose to pay it in 5 monthly installments. So far so good!!

The site said I was approved and my credit card was charged for the 1st parcel.

The day after my terror story started!! I got an email saying I needed to call them and confirm my information, it said nothing about credit. I promptly called them up. The only thing I'd get were their machines and the only option given to me was to leave voice mails.

And I didn't until about when they were about to close for the day, so I left a message confirming who i was , order number and everything else thinking that was all they needed to not think I was just someone scamming them.

I waited the next day, almost all day long. No one called me back so I called them back again and guess what, only machines and voice mails wich gave me a little chill.

The next day I didn't hear my cell phone ringing but anyways it was them and they left me a message.

When I saw the message I called them right away. Nobody answered AGAIN. Called up a couple more times but didn't leave them a message.

So the following day I called them up about 12 times and got somebody to answer the phone.

I was worried but as I loved the price and the ring and had never seen any complaints about them I went ahead and talked to the person. He said my credit card was NOT approved and that my CREDIT CARD score was too low. So I gave them another credit card and the guy said I was approved on that one and that my first charge would appear on my first credit card and the following installments should appear on my second credit card. I was fine with it.

So after about 2 days they shipped out the ring and I saw 1 charge on the 1st CC and 4 charges on my 2nd CC I tought that was something normal and that it would just not be really charged to my cc and should go away within a couple of days, as they were just trying to approve my credit.

So I waited for about a week and called them up and again it was so hard to get to talk to someone!! (Left 2 messages and hundreds of phone calls + emails that were never replied). Took me 2 days until I got to talk to somebody, not machines. But I finally did and the lady said the person that was had approved my credit wasn't in the office that day but she mentioned that if one uses 2 credit cards 2 charges would be made, one in each CC wich I was NOT informed by the guy who first approved me. He told me that all other 4 installments would show up on my 2nd credit card on the due days. So she told me he would call me back the next day and they would try to fix the mistake.

I said it was fine and the next day I emailed them just to make sure that they would do something about it.

Guess what now It's been about 3 weeks and I've never got any calls back or emails back. I guess they are happy they got my money.

I just called american express and They are canceling the payments right now until they hear from ice.com.

I just can't believe these companies think they can get away with it.

So summing it up. It took me 2 weeks to get the ring and I got charged my 5 installments all at once and they refuse to contact me!!

Well at least the credit card company seems to be on my side.

As of that I'd say if you need something from ice.com order with plenty of time to spare and don't try using the monthly installments and if you think you might need some help with the product. Well you might as well help yourself as they don't seem to like answering the phone nor getting back to theyer customers.
