IdealPhotoandVideo Aka Best Discount Camera, Ideal Photo And Video Aka Best Discount Camera Aka The Digital Store ripoff - refuse to return money deceptive company Brooklyn New York
This company shipped the wrong flat screen LCD TV (the 4:3 model instead of 16:9). It took 5 phone calls to get an RMA (because they use a different phone number for returns than they do for customer service, and the message on the "return" line gives unintelligible directions to go to a different website to request an RMA).
It's been 75 days since they received the returned product, and they still haven't credited the $1600 they ripped me off for. I've made 3 (successful and many more unsuccessful) phone calls (to their never-answered support line -- the only number they answer on is the order line) and repeated emails to both the support and RMA addresses they provide. Every week or so they respond via email saying they need more information because they can't cross-reference purchaser name or RMA number or shipping number. They also ignore the cell phone number I provide them with to reach me with any questions.
In my last email, I provided them with the full information from the invoice, credit card reciept, RMA, return shipping airbill, confirmation of receipt from the carrier. Everything they could possibly need to resolve the issue, even if they don't keep/can't find any transaction records. I haven't heard from them since.
They just want to stall and hold my money. They do business under at least three names:
