I was badgered into purchasing a vacation package with Imperial Majestic and Ramada Plaza that I seriously cannot afford at this time, and really don't want anyway. The charge in Cdn. $ was over 700 and that didn't include getting there and so it isn't even a good deal relative to what you can get almost any time of year, without 60 days notice, to go to Mexico or the Caribbean. I had said "no" several times, and to several different people throughtout the hour and a half long conversations, but in the end and in a moment of insanity I gave them my credit card details. I should just have hung up and I knew it but they can be very persuasive, as well as misleading. I was up all night and sick about it. I called first thing the next day and yes, they did try to sell me a less expensive package but if you remain calm and firm about it, you can get a refund. At least I got a cancellation number and was told my credit card would be credited for the whole amount within 10 days. Also my credit card company suggested they would assist me with resolving a situation of 'forceful selling' but as I say Imperial Majesty didn't give me really any grief about the refund. The sooner you call back about it the better. It was less than a day in my case. I did a little looking around on the web and it seems you could purchase pretty much the same vacation if you desire, from their website for the same or even less money! And without the high pressure sales pitch.

I did get my refund! Please note that you have to act fast from initial purchase, I called for the refund in about 2 weeks time.
