Near the end of the summer I was contacted by Ramada/Imperial Majesty Cruise Vacations based in Ft. Lauderdale about a "cannot refuse" offer including 4 days in Ft. Lauderdale, 3 days in Orlando and also a 2 night cruise to Nassau in the Bahamas. The offer was very enticing and indeed very difficult to refuse. They customer service reps did indeed pressure me into signing up for the package and giving my credit card number on the spot. I would have liked to do some research beforehand, but I was told about their "one-call per customer" policy in which if I didn't accept the offer immediately I wouldnt have another chance. Considering the list of business partners (Universal Studios, Ramada Hotels, Alamo etc.), I decided that it must be legit because if not, the reputable companies would have had Imperial Majesty shut down for using their names.

Regardless I was pressured into making a rushed decision about their vacation package. I accepted and was thrilled to receive the information package in the mail. The pictures and pamphlets were nice and reassured me of my choice. I put them in a safe place and returned to school in September, patiently awaiting my vacation in the South in the upcoming winter/Spring. Now, being time for the vacation, I have done a little more research on the package and realise that I have been scammed hardcore. Being a young guy, I had not had the displeasure of being scammed like this yet and hence was naive when I was targeted by their service dept. I guess you learn from mistakes! I have not been on the vacation yet, but feel strongly that it would be a disapoinment.

Maybe someone has experience or can help me out with some information to get a refund 6 months after paying. I am indeed a victim of pressure selling and misinformation. They make the vacation out to be a 5-star elite experience, whereas most customer reviews state the opposite.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.
