I briefly worked for Imperial Merchant Services as an outside sales rep so I experienced first hand how they operate.  In fact I even sold their services to my friend who now will probably have to take the company to court. They still have not refunded his money for a service ie. epay  that he NEVER wanted. In addition, Pivotal will not release him from a contract although they were unable to solve the issues that they created when he joined up. By the IMS is just an outside sales organization for Pivotal.....once they sign you up, forget about contacting them with any issues. They make you believe that you're saving money but at the end of the day, you're really aren't.

Pivotal charged my friend $650 to cancel the contract

That's right folks....despite the fact that Pivotal/ Imperial Merchant Services were unable to provide the merchant with the services they promised, Pivotal would not allow him to cancel the contract unless he paid them $650 so before you join up with Pivotal....be aware that there is a very high cost to cancel their contract and IMS will not disclose that. In fact, they do not show you the complete contract just the first three pages. It's called hiding the truth. I just informed my friend that he did NOT agree to the term of the contract because he never saw nor initialed the other pages of the contract.
