Complaint Review: In & Out Moving and Storage company- Chicago - Chicago Illinois

 I am waiting for my things from Chicago to CA. I have called so many times- no calls back inquiring where are my things. They took July 30. It is August 24 and I am waiting. A driver called from Chicago 3 weeks ago and said they would be there the following week. Nothing. I called last week 2 weeks after that call that they left UL to CA. No return call. I called today inquiring where or when is delivery? The manager Airel H. Bullied me, yelled at me, spun lies and said they attempted delivery. He said driver talked to me about delivery. A lie. This conversation was happening while teaching my new class of First graders. They always said from day 1, the driver would give me 24 hour notice. Never happened. I have been waiting for 3 weeks w the other half of cash. They will only take that and not a cashiers check. Then he proceded to say on the phone that they would tack on $350.for re -delivery. They never attempted. They never called. I've called repeatedly even last week. Manager- bullying me, abusive on phone, lying, spinning in circles said driver said he talked to me to deliver. All lies. I wish I had seen the bad reviews. Stay away. I wish I had gone w Mayflower who came to estimate by looking at storage. (Cheaper) I still don't have my stuff. Manager was vague it was. But next breath delivery might be in next 3 days. First I heard. I see what people did legally after their bad experience with this company. I drove to our sheriffs office for advice. If my stuff is not here by Monday- 4 days away/ I am to go back to sheriffs Dept for next steps. For the people who had experience I will follow your legal steps next, this company is a scam. The sheriffs Dept has advised more steps even after Monday. They broke rules, contracts, threatened me on phone . I've been waiting w my other half money for a month- agreement and now they want to tack more. Can somebody advise more legal options.

 This company In & Out Moving and Storage has ripped me off, not delivered my things from IL to CA in over a month. I have repeatedly called and checked in. The manager who I talked to first time today by me calling in Again- this time manager- Ariel H. bullied me on phone, lied several times, said they attempted to deliver - not true- they have told me all along that I would get a phone call 24 hours in advance. He said driver said he talked to me. Lie. Driver 3 weeks ago said he was leaving Chicago for CA. I have started school and have called them w no answers or return calls. Then manager said he is adding $350 to redeliver when they never called, never gave 24 hour notice and never delivered. Manager bullied and yelled and made up lies on phone. Abusive. Just like the other 2 complaints here 2009, 2011 by people. Same scenario. Same breaking rules. It's a scam . I need legal advice. I still do not have my things. He could not tell me where my things are. But next breath after saying additional $350- it might be here in next 3 days. They never called for delivery which is what they are claiming is undelivered. They never attempted. Scam. I went to sheriffs Dept today because I do not have my stuff, they are tacking on costs $350 scamming (false) like everything else since coming to get boxed things from storage. Sheriff said if they do not have my things to me by Monday- 5 days away - come back to sheriffs dept and we will proceed from there. And if delivered I will proceed with my rights - complaints with advice by sheriffs dept for civil action. They broke all rules of contract. Changed rules and lied like they did others. I'm a school teacher who regrets this. They loaded truck and then doubled costs and now lie to add more costs. I still don't have my things. Stay away from this horrible company. I should have gone w Mayflower who came to quote. If my things come- this weekend- sheriff dept gave me number to call for sheriff dispatch to come when movers arrive called "civil standby" especially because this company wants cash handed over. Sheriff said have contract in hand w original amount. I've paid 2,196 (half) and I have the other half 2,196 cash for a month. And now they lied to add $350. It's been horrendous. Bully, bad practices. I will go further w legal complaints. Please advise. Sheriff Dept said we will discuss in 5 days next steps on filing complaints, etc. Stay away from In & Out Moving Co - Chicago.. Other bad reviews- same experience! Scammers. I've just started to teach new school year. Upsetting.
