Independent Wireless Services ripoff Atlanta Georgia
I applied for a position with Independent Wireless in March. I paid the money for the headset and waited for a good month to receive anything from them. I received my paperwork after calling several times and also received my headset but unfortunately it was worth only about 4 dollars. I tried to research the company as best I could and never found any negative reports, so I figured I was safe. I started having doubts when I called several times and was never able to get thru. After sending in my paperwork, I called the company one day and spoke with a representative who immediately told me "it is a scam". I was caught off guard because this was a representative for the company. After this call I did my own investigating and found out that the company is in fact a fraudulent company. I spoke with someone who is investigating the company. However, I have not been able to recover any of my money. I also found a listing under Career Builder and Monster for a company called Target Staffing USA. This company is also Independent Wireless and they now want $225 to set up the phone line to your home. I contacted Monster and Career Builder and they are investigating the new company name. In short, both companies are completely fraudulent.
