International Academy Of Design And Technology scam Pittsburgh Pennsylvania
My name is Gary I am 33 years old and live in the Pittsburgh area. When I was 24 I was laid off from my job and decided to explore my options in the technical field. I decided to go to what at the time was Computer Tech, Pittsburgh which little did I know would be a huge mistake. I remember the day I first walked through the door to inquire about the school it was the same experience as the last time I bought a car.
The gentleman that showed me around the school was a true salesman, he told me that after 18 months of school they would help me to find a job starting somewhere between 30k and 40k a year, and to someone in my situation that sounded great. To make a long story short I now have about 15k left to pay in student loans, the jobs that they tried to get me when I graduated started at about 8.00/hr, they changed the name of the school about ten months after I started classes there and now I have a useless piece of paper that states that I graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology (not Computer Tech the school that I enrolled in). The whole corportation is a complete scam and I wouldnt suggest it to my very worst enemy. I guess you live and learn!
