International Magazine Service Of Northern California ripoff Santa Rosa California
After I subscribed to the magazine service, I started to receive unauthorized charges on my credit card from companies affiliated with this service. I also started receiving phone calls in the evenings from other companies affiliated with this service.
I requested that my credit card not be charged for anything that I have not authorized. I continued to get charges accrued that I was not aware of. I then requested by phone and e-mail to cancel my subscription. I was told that they could not cancel the subscription because they fully prepaid the subscription.
I requested a copy of the check or draft to verify that they had completely prepaid. At this date, to no avail, I have not received the verification. I refused to pay them until this was accomplished, so they turned me over to collection.
