Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
I had just moved to virginia beach in 2006, and i wanted to apply for a job so i saw an ad from IMA about telemarketing, so i called and she told me to come in and do an interview the same day, i was psyched about it at first ,then when i got there they put me in this room for training with a couple of other people to read scripts, i didn't do that well but i still got the job and i didn't show up.

About 2 weeks later i called the company back and did the same training and i got hired again, i figured they were really desperate because i left them hanging the first time. Not knowing what im getting into, i came to work dressed up thinking it was somewhat a descent job but yet they showed us these small rooms assigning each person to them i felt like i was back in high school, it looked like it was too many in one room, then i noticed people coming to work with house shoes on, the girl they had me with didn't train me properly and i can tell she liked the job a little to much and i don't see why. I had to lie and tell them there was entered in a DREAM COME TRUE SWEEPSTAKES and how they would when a watch which i had numerous customers curse me out about how they didn't receive their watch and i didn't know what to tell them, then i was told by the supervisor not to tell where the location was, it was just to many red flags for me that's why i only worked there for 2 1/2 days because i was not feeling it, i felt bad lying to people about something i knew they weren't going to get, plus the atomosphere was not professional, to small, to hot, and i noticed how they have the young white girls working downstairs under the air conditioner while everybody else upstairs sweating. That was the worst 2 1/2 days of my life.

I think i only got a 15 min break, i just feel i was lied to from the advertisement, it was NOTHING i expected and i think it's funny when i talk about my experience working at IMA the minority have worked there before and say the same thing if not more. I hope they get put out of business for scamming people to get money from there credit card.

The moral of this story is, if you're a new resident of ,virginia beach, DO NOT RESPOND TO IMA FOR A JOB, apply elsewhere because i would rather flip burgers in a hot kitchen before working there again.

From what I know, IMA telemarketing goes by their scam name of National Reader Services. They send people bills expecting them to pay, and call randomly, wanting your credit information. If you have any other information, please rebuttal it under my report about National Reader Services. Perhaps we can get ahold of someone to put them out of business.
