As part of the online sign up process, each subscriber is prompted to complete the E911 Emergency Services section. If the subscriber chooses to skip this step, a popup screen is displayed that states Your e911 has not been set up. If you call 911 without setting up e911 you may be charged $100 per call. Would you like to skip the setup of e911 and set it up later? YES / NO
The purpose for this is so that in case of an emergency and you are unable to speak; the address you enter will be automatically displayed to the emergency dispatcher. ITP is charged for each time 911 is called where e911 is NOT setup. We simply pass that charge to the subscriber.
