James Anderson Threatened me with an arrest warrant for not paying on something I never borrowed. Los Angeles California
i received an email with an arrest warrant and an ID with it from james anderson with the california state seal as an attaachment. he stated that the arrest warrant would be released because i had ignored call that had been made, but i never received any phone calls.
in the email, it states that i was going to be sued for $6300 because i owed a cash advance place for a payday loan that i never took out. it also stated that i could only make payment arrangements through email and that my employer would be notifeid and my wages would be garnished.
when i emailed him back that he had the wrong person, her replied "ok, se you in court". I then googled the arrest warrant id and found out that it is a scam!!! what a terrible way to scare someone and try to get money.
