Traveling to San Diego, got online to book a shuttle. Clicked a link for RapidShuttle. The price advertised from the airport to my destination was  30.00. After my credit card information was put in the price jumped to 59.00.  I was irritated but thought maybe my destination was farther? Befor I arrived I was sent instructions to go to the shuttle Island.  They had my plane info, arrival time etc.  I was flown in at  8:50 for a 10:00 company meeting/first day on the job!  I went to the Shuttle Island, booths for many other shuttle services as well as an info booth with airport employee's.  I didnt see a Rapid Shuttle booth.  When my confirmation was sent to me it said Jayride.  No one at the airport had heard of either Jayride or Rapid Shuttle.   I called the number on my confirmation and immediately the jerk (who answers every time and day or night?) started yelling at me, while on the phone with him an airport employee ask what I was looking for.  He screamed don't talk to her! and when I ask her where this shuttle would be she said she had never heard of either company and he hung up on me.   I called back,  he yelled and told me to just wait and he would call me back.  At this point it was about 10:20.  I went to Super Shuttle and hopped on one that was waiting (they were great)  they charged me 30.00 for the same destination.  I paid and then the idiot called back with a new confirmation number and told me to go to Super Shuttle.  I had already hired Super Shuttle, but had Super Shuttle check the confirmation number and he had just made a reservation with them.  Apparently they really don't exist and just double the price and hire another service to haul you to your destination. It was about 10:25 before the jacka** at Rapid Shuttle or Jayride (hard to determine) called to tell me to take a super shuttle. I had gotten to the shuttle island by  9:10 and ended up hiring another shuttle service at  10:24.  My reason for my whole early morning flight was to make it to the office by 10.  It was a 15-20 minute ride.  If they had picked me up on time I would have made it.  They actually didn't pick me up at all.  Then if you call the number  you get Rapid Shuttle,  if you start complaining the same rude man tells you that you booked with Jayride and they can't help you.  I had seen a review before booking where there were complaints on Jayride, I would not have booked with them intentionally.  I think they are one and the same,  if you as the rude guy on the phone 1-888-672-7438 for jayrides number he hangs up on you.  When you call the number provided they answer Rapid Shuttle, the website I clicked on was Rapid Shuttle.  Totally deceptive. Then after he hangs up on you they put you on hold and will not pick up the phone.  I am filing fraud charges with my credit card company tomorrow.
