In late January 2014, we made a BIG MISTAKE and decided to try out Legal Zoom to form a S Corp after watching one of their nifty tv commercials. What a Nightmare it is dealing with this company. First, they totally screwed up our order, second, they over-charged us and additional $115 "Expedite" fee for a longer turn-around time and third, they never helped answer any of our questions or returned any of our phone calls that we made to their "customer service" (their reps are trained to put you on hold for a long time until you get tired of waiting and then you have to hang up. They never call you back right away. It's all about their convenience not the customers. We calculated their average wait time to be around 15 minutes! Who is going to hold that long while they are also busy? Answer- not many people and Legal Zoom knows this that's why it's part of their strategy.). We originally ordered their S Corporation package and the incompetent Legal Zoom rep screwed up our order by making it a LLC! We repeated our requests three times to make sure that there were no mistakes, but he still managed to mess it all up. Adding insult to injury, the rep up-sold us on expediting the order in 7-10 business days for an extra $115 Fee. What a big rip off this was! We didn't receive our screwed up order until over two weeks later! It took much longer time than he promised us. We wrote down the expected delivery date and confirmed it twice with him. Another one of their many lies. If you call this an expedited service it's called false advertising. John Suh (nice last name, Suh like Sue nice legal joke just like Legal Zoom) has built a Company that legally rips people off and gets away with it. Good use of your Harvard MBA John. Stay the hell away from Legal Zoom. They rip people off, lie consistently and do not take their customers calls! Their strategy is to wear you down by transferring you around endlessly until you get sick and tired of playing their time wasting games and hang up. You're better off using other legal services. Never again Legal Zoom!

I have already filed my own Rip Off Report regarding my anquish with Legal Zoom. I just wanted to reply to this post that I have found my average wait time on hold with Legal Zoom Reps to be at least 40 minutes and that is no exageration!
