Complaint Review: Johnson Riddle & Mark LLC - Internet Internet

I had a couple of credit cards. I got laid off due to the economy. My debt went to collections, as well it should have because I could not make the payment. I acknowledge that I owe the debt. I have been making payments to Johnson Riddle Mark LLC for over a year to settle a $3000 debt to the credit card company. I started paying $35 a week. Jessica James, an employee at Johnson Riddle Mark LLC, told me on the phone that the payment of $35 was fine. She said she would work with me, but when I got back to work I needed to pay more.

I am fine with paying more, when I have the money. Keep in mind that I acknowledge that I owe the debt. Three weeks ago, I called Jessica James at Johnson Riddle Mark LLC and spoke to Jessica James. I told her that I am getting $100 a week unemployment and offered her half of that, per week. I gave her a debit card number so she could take $50 a week out of my unemployment. My unemployment insurance gets directly deposited into a debit card issued by the state on behalf of US Bank. She has since been taking $50 a week out of my unemployment insurance. That is fine. That is what I aggreed to.

Suddenly, a $3000 debt as turned into a $6000 dollar debt on behalf of Johnson Riddle Mark LLC. Today I got  a copy of a subpoena in the mail from Johnson Riddle Mark LLC, or Jonson Mark LLC as they are now going by. They have subpoenaed Bank Of America for records of last deposits. I have not had that bank in over a year. Now the bank is charging me $35 for filing fees, and Jessica James ( a paralegal for Johnson Riddle Mark LLC) will no longer take my phone call. I have tried calling 3 time today. They tell me she is in when I call, but when they find out who is calling-she is suddenly no longer in. I have paid over $1000 on my debt o the credit card company. Now I owe three times more than when I started.

On a brighter note, there is no money anywhere for that idiot at Johnson Riddle Mark LLC to take. I am not lieing to them when I say that I have been laid off. I do not even have $1 in a savings account at any bank.

I try to be honest and pay a bill that I acknowledge that I have and what do I get? Some two faced little wanna be attorney that likes to play games. How can I owe 2 times the amount that the original bill started out at. Especially after paying $35 and $50 dollars a week on it. Jessica is thinking that she is really smart by taking my weekly payments and then cut off contact and take my tax return. I sweet irony is, there is no tax return. I am not lieing when I say that I am not working. I really want to work, but I am not.

On a final note, my unemployment expires next week. Then she will be forced to talk to me because there is no money anywhere for her to take.

The moral of this story, Do not trust Jessica James (paralegal) at Johnson Riddle Mark LLC.

I would still like to know how the attorney's office can impose interest rates on a bill that was handed down from an establishment to collect. Johnson Riddle Mark LLC neewr lent me any money. How can they say that my weekly payment does not cover the interest on the bill.

The simple fact is Johnson Riddle Mark LLC and Jessica James, a wanna be attorney, are ripping innocent people of by threatening with legal action.

However, I have news for Jessica James, the wanna be, threatening people with legal action is harassment. Especially so when a person contacts them trying to make good on his payments with what he has. She gets half of what I have for peets sake, and my bill continues to go up.

I have sent them a letter of intent, explaining that I acknowledge the debt and I want to pay it. I asked them to quit calling with threatening messages, but they won't stop. That by itself is not legal...

I am looking for an attorney to take that whole group on, including the wanna be Jessica James.

If any attorney out there wants this case, he/she can have 75% of any proceeds earned after legal fees. The remainder of proceeds, I want to go to people that do have money to fight these people. This is ridiculous!!!!!!

These People need to be stopped. I hate a bully!!!

Johnson Riddle Mark LLC and Jessica James are nothing but thugs that know enough about the legal system to get by, stopping just short of nothing else than plain and simple, "Organized Crime!"
