Butch Jones Auto Repair ripoff con artist Raleigh North Carolina
Butch Jones Auto Repair had my car for 3 months to do minor repairs now they 'don't know where it is' rip off scam con artists ripoff thieves Raleigh North Carolina .....
I dropped off the car the week before Thanksgiving to have a state inspection done, bushings put on the struts, a window motor installed, a tune up and an oil change. I was told that he was busy, and we said that that was ok, we were going out of town anyhow.
We get the runaround for the remainder of November, come December, he tells me that while he was driving it to get it inspected -- that it quit running. Since it was in his care, he would be responsible for fixing the problem.
We play the game with them, all through December, and repeatedly ask to pay for whatever labor has been performed and to be allowed to remove our car from their premises, but the car is locked inside the building -- and they rarely if ever answer or return calls.
Come January, we are still trying to make contact, still trying to get ahold of this Butch, and get our car -- still he promises that it will be done in a few days, and when we arrange for a tow truck, no one is present at the garage. That leads to this week, when his brother finally tells us that our car isn't at their garage anymore, and they don't know where Butch is, either.
I filed the police report today, and reported Butch as the person who stole the car -- however, I only had liability insurance on this car -- still trying to find a lawyer to sue these fools.
