 The Human Resources Director, Joy Sirvent, who works out of several stores; but was assigned during this issue to Store # 770 Miami International Mall. She treats associates with little or no respect when calling them to discuss protocol and compliance related issues with them. Although, she may call you in her office to privately discuss your particular issue, to serve as a liaison between yourself and the department in question and/or loss prevention executives, she does anything but that. She speaks to associates in a demeaning manner and attempts to intimidate them by "telling" them what the associate said, instead of asking them what happened.

It sends associates on the defensive and then they are told they are being hostile and/or aggressive, because they are doing so. She also does not abide by total confidentiality that she so clearly states she does when she closes the door when you are sitting down for a conference or exit interview aka termination procedure. Because Loss Prevention executives are spoken to prior and post the meeting with the associates. She does NOT put associates at ease upon meeting with her, instead she speaks to the associate as though she has already judged them prior to their arrival, especially since she has a conversation with the Loss Prevention executive PRIOR to the meeting.

She lacks the proper people skills to deal with individuals fairly and tends to subjugate them instead of listen to them. She talks at the associates rather than too them; if she doesn't like what you say she begins to talk down to you and attempts to discredit anything you say. She seems to discriminate against people who have tattoos and/or have different religious beliefs; she lacks compassion and although she is strict when it comes to compliance related issues, the rules are only enforced for some individuals and not others and the same can be said about which rules one should abide by and whom should follow them. She does anything in her power to bring people down and attempts to paint them as a villain.
