Julie Abrams has represented my child with her DREAMSCOPE MANAGEMENT GROUP company in Los Angeles for this last year. I initially made her acquaintance two months prior to that when I was introduced to her over lunch with a mutual business associate. I am happy to share our personal experience for the last 14 months in regards to Julie (Zazueta) Abrams. Julie is professional. From the start, I was impressed with Julie's professionalism, and she has not disappointed us along this line. She has demonstrated total decorum in regards to the entertainment industry. She even instructs her clients on "do's and don'ts" of the business. She strives to maintain professionalism in every aspect of her work and presentations. Julies is both knowledgeable and capable. I have been very impressed with her first-hand knowledge of the entertainment industry. She has wonderful contacts in all areas of the business. She provides her clients with on-the-edge contact info. From hairdressers, photographers, printers, coaches, and casting director/workshops, etc. (All of whom have spoken very highly of Julie even when she is not present.) Julie knows what an actor needs to succeed in this business and she give very capable advise as to attining the necessary training, personal appearance and a well rounded resume. Making all the tools necessary accessible to her clients. Julie is dependable. She has made herself available at all times for any emergency. When she has had to be out of town on a trip, she sees that office personnel are available to carry on her office activities and provide assistance to her clients. She is quick to return phone calls and emails. If she doesn't have an answer to something, she will research and is prompt to get back to us. Julie is honest. She has been consistently transparent and honest in every aspect of our business relationship. On a personal level, I have found her to be open and transparent. On a business level, I have found her to be very honest where finances are concerned. She has NEVER tried to take advantage of us. She has been reasonable. She has been content to have all monies channeled through our talent agency and then receive payment from us after we have received a cut check from our agency. I always provide her with a copy of the check statement along with her commission check, and we have NEVER had a disagreement where money is concerned. Julie respects her clients. Being the parent of a monor actor, I have had to say "no" to projects and optional expenses on occasion. Whether the reason was influenced by personal preference, or by financial limitations, Julie has consistently stated, "the final decision is always yours". She has never pressured me or made me uncomfortable, but has respected our career decisions. Julie is optimistic and kind. We all know (or learn) that the entertainment industry is extremely competitive and stressful, and can be riddled with disappointments. Julie has consistently proven herself to be optimistic. Countless times Julie has taken the time to encourage us to move beyond discouragement, and to remain hopeful and determined. She handles stress and disappointment in a very optimistic manner. One occasion that illustrates this is when on a particular day my child was scheduled for two different auditions. Both auditions were for episodes on major networks. I had never been to either casting locations and somehow my research misinformed me with directions. I got lost trying to find the first audition, I called Julie and she advised me to go on to the second audition, which I did. Meanwhile, Julie called and got better directions for me, and the casting directors agreed to see my child at a later time. Traffic was horrendous and it was pouring rain. We made it to the second audition, then headed back to the first one, however between the late afternoon Hollywood traffic and the downpour of rain, we missed the casting directors by a matter of minutes. I was extremely disappointed and stressed. I called Julie in tears of frustration and Julie's response to me blew me away. She said, "That's ok. Don't feel bad. You did your best. It couldn't be helped. Don't worry, there will be many more auditions to come." I felt so much better after talking to Julie. Julie is a kind, loving person, who cares more about people than profit. (By the way, Julie called an hour later telling me that my child got callback for the second audition!) In closing, I would like to testify that in the 12 months that we have been with Julie's management (since summer 2005), my child's acting ability has improved by 50% and my child's resume has increased by 80%. We plan to continue with Julie Abrams and DREAMSCOPE MANAGEMENT GROUP, and would highly recommend her and her company to any and all who aspire to succeed in the acting business. Thanks. Contented Client.

My daughter has been represented by Julie for some time now, and has never asked for money once. We have gone to her workshops, she has coached my daughter before auditions, has answered every call I have ever put in to her, has gotten her auditions with top casting directors and major networks in LA, and has truly worked tirelessly to promote all of her clients. WE HAVE GOTTEN EVERYTHING THAT JULIE SAID SHE WOULD DELIVER - WITH NO MONEY TAKEN!!!! WE ARE PROUD TO HAVE JULIE'S NAME AND MANAGEMENT COMPANY ACROSS THE TOP OF MY DAUGHTER'S RESUME. 100% Satisfied with Julie, Carole (New York, NY)

I'm replying to Serena, it seems like you have a personal problem with Julie. My daugther when to that's school Inner Focus Talent and Julie help us to the last degree without no money and she even paid from her own expenses for her to go to L.A in Best new talent show. I don't know where you have your info about Ms. Julie but I did knew she help more than 150 kids get their dreams come true. My child could not even speak English because she from Switzerland ,Ms. Julie took time to sign language with her that's the way she was able to walk the runway and signing her model carreer with one of the best 10 agency on the world. Next model management. Because of Ms.Julie Zazueta my child was nominee in March 2004 model of the week and she shooted more than 20 magazines, 7 runways shows from the best designers like Vera Wang and Sweeties. She been in several commercial and Magazine. Her face is well known by Jane magazine, Elle, teen Vogue, Surf ,Rolling Stone, Vibe, Vibe Vixen, Dolce Cabana campaign, Louis Vitton Campaign, Saks Fifht avenue jewlery campaign and play recently in a student movie. Since the first time she want to the school we paid not like you said and she never took extra money from us or ask for any money even my daughter making money under Julie management, she always there for my daughter supporting her always. Julie most important part is her loving heart for what she does and doing at her best.Money never been an issue with her, some people even took advantage of her because the way she is.I think you have the wrong impression about her and all you have said are nothing but lies or revenge maybe your couldn't make you try to blame somebody for act.She can send you to casting but she cannot do the part for you have to make your own effort and try your best. If anyone want to talk about this matter feel free to contact me I will response as soon as possible. If you hate her tell the true about it, do not hide behind any events.

Ripped off too!! New info on Julie Zazueta

Whoever "Julie" from "W. Hollywood" is that posted that Julie Zazueta never ripped anyone off is a liar, and her post sounds more like a promotion for the company than actual written word. As someone who was ripped off by her, I can tell you that the name "John Robert Powers" and "Inner Focus Talent", along with her own name, were plastered everywhere in the "studio" which never really was finished being built. If you're doing your research and are considering giving Julie your money, GET OUT NOW! Julie has been associated with DreamScope Management Group, which has also ripped off countless more potential clients and employees. I received an email from a woman in California who reported to me that Julie is at it again! She is very concerned for her granddaughter and son - her granddaughter is the one looking forward to classes which will never come, but her son is the one who is paying the price! See her email contents... "The person who ran Inner Focus Talent, changed her name from Julie Zazueta to Julie Abrams because of the stuff on the rip off report. She lives in North Hollywood, Calif at 11850 Riverside Drive Suite 219 zip code 91607. She is still doing the same stuff that she was doing before in Florida. She even still goes to John Robert Powers and represents herself as a big deal Hollywood manager. Tell everyone you know that she changed her name so she will not continue to suck more people into her schemes. W G(Worried Grandmother)"

YES, Julie did work for John Robert Powers in Weston, FL. At least that's what she told us. The branch of John Robert Powers was opened in the Weston Town Center. Eventually Julie broke away from JRP and started her own company in Weston, and named it Inner Focus Talent. Like I said, this is what Julie told us- her employees. If you want the truth, why don't you call John Robert Powers and ask them if they ever had an office in Weston, and if Julie Zazueta was the person running it.

JULIE ZAZUETA NEVER WORKED IN WESTON FOR JOHN ROBERT POWERS! YOU HAVE THE WRONG PERSON!

#13REBUTTAL Individual responds

A report was filed that Julie Zazueta was the owner/associated with John Robert Powers in Weston, Florida. THIS INFORMATION/REPORT IS INCORRECT AND COMPLETELY FALSE AS JULIE ZAZUETA WAS NEVER THE OWNER, AN EMPLOYEE OR ASSOCIATED IN ANY WAY JOHN ROBERT POWERS IN WESTON OR IN FLORIDA. Julie Zazueta IN NO WAY ever ripped off anyone at John Robert Powers in Weston. Julie is a Talent Manager in Los Angeles in early 2001 opened a school for actors that closed in 2004. In just those three short years Julie placed over 150 kids and adults from her school with Top Los Angeles Talent Agencies and have helped launch the careers of hundreds of actors in Television, Feature Films, Commercials, Music Videos, Magazines and Catalogs! Julie Zazueta's clients can be seen on Hit TV shows such as: MY NAME IS EARL, INVASION, MEDIUM, LAS VEGAS, NED'S DECLASSIFIED, THE O.C., SUMMERLAND, E.R., AMERICA'S MOST TALENTED KIDS, just to name a few! Julie Zazueta's clients have appeared in hundreds of commercials such as: WENDY'S, BURGER KING, MCDONALD'S, NIKE, VERIZON, BELL SOUTH, MCI, OLD NAVY, TARGET, HEINEKIN, just to name a few. Julie Zazueta's Modeling Clients have been in Top Magazines and catalogs such as: VOGUE, COSMO GIRL, ELLE, W, SHAPE, MACY'S, BURDINES, THE LIMITED TWO, DOLCE AND GABANA, again, just to name a few. Julie Zazueta also worked with Vincent Cirrincione Associates in Los Angeles who represents Star Clientele such as HALLE BERRY, JAMES LESURE, JOHN HENSLEY, SALLY STRUTHERS, JO BETH WILLIAMS, MARIO VAN PEOPLES, TONY HALE, just to name a few.

I too was ripped off by John Robert Powers in Weston - the owner was Julie Zazueta, right? See my own ripoff report, search for "Inner Focus" - that was the name they were going under - and you'll even see a link to a blog entry by a FORMER EMPLOYEE who says she witnessed this. If you're going to an attorney, we should see about a class-action lawsuit. I would be willing to bet the money I got scammed out of that we could get our money back, and then some, and there are surely lots more victims out there!
