Kragen,Schucks, Checker, Murray's, & Garvin Promotions Garvin Promotions issued rebate checks for puchases at Kragen/Checker/Schucks/Murrays Auto parts stores, then STOPPED PAYMENT causing Bank Charges! Long Beach, California And Scottsdale, Arizona
Kragens group of Auto Parts Stores in California issued a Rebate Check through Garvin Promotions (in Scottsdale Arizona) for puchase of Oil. They then Stopped payment on the rebate check which caused bank charges at my Bank when deposited! Received no assistance from Store Manager. They wanted their 'Stop Payment' check returned from California to Arizona and may consider whether or not they will refund check and Bank charges? This is NOT going to happen! The Store Manager will be summoned to small claims court in California and the check and Bank charge Statement are evidence for the judge if payment for check and bank charges are not received within 14 days.
This puchase of oil is the very Last transaction this auto parts chain will ever get from me or anyone that I know! There are other stores without the deceptive business practices. This was not a big deal except for the principle of what they did! Note, the check and charges were only $12 each and I now intend to spend hundreds on the court costs, summons, etc! They would have been much farther ahead to step up to what they did instead of jerking me around and forcing me to spread their bad reputation to everyone that will listen!
