Double coupons will double only on manufacturers coupons up to 50 cents. It will double any eligible coupons as long as the quantity bought matches the number of coupons. So the complaintant here must be misinformed.

Having been a former employee of Kroger for many years (and many locations), truth in couponing goes as follows: It is up to the individual stores as to their coupon policy. There are stores that will refuse to take any coupons whatsoever. Doubles, Triples and Super Doubles depend also on the market the store is in. You should always call the store in advance if you are wondering what their policies are. Do not speak to a cashier, ask for the store manager! Have you considered calling Kroger's Corporate number in Cincinnati, Ohio? Any Kroger store will be more than willing to provide that number for you. Every Kroger has a policy book in the cash office or manager's office dictating that particular stores rules regarding coupons. It is unfortunate that you haven't (from all outward appearances) bothered to take this any farther than this website. But yes, every store (no matter the name) has the right to determine how many coupons they will take, whether they will double, triple or quadruple and how many like coupons/products you are allowed to get under these specials...if at all.
