Tell us has your experience with this business or person been good? What's this?
These people are ripoffs . They double broker freight and they beat owner-operators out of their money. they will screw you tatto you and blue you.

If you want to lose everything you have all you have to do is lease-on to them. The people who own this co. are the most corrupt and lowlife assholes that I have ever

encountered.

Hopefully the proper authority's will visit with them soon, because these moronic pieces of WHALESHIT belong in

the penitentary.

Mr. Loots has just hired an attorney, Ian Ball, out of Minneapolis (612) 338-1313 to file Chapter 7 on Lakes Area Trucking. Ian's e-mail address is: [DELETED] His house is currently in foreclosure, and has missed several court appearances concerning non-payment of services owed to various drivers. C.H. Robinson won't let him haul for them anymore. They got garnishments on him. It's important that we work together to spread the word that Rob Loots is a thief of the worst kind.

They were made by my upset ex-wife. Rob has been nothing but helpful in my helping me to get compensation for the trips that I have made. They are good people and are in business only to help move freight. Do not listen to the other people that have posted things about them they are legit and are willing to help you in anyway that they can.

unbelieveable how bad they lie

I would encourage you to tell any driver or up and coming driver that you know not to use them at all. When they were Lakes Area I made (4) different trips and have not seen a dime. Yes, I know Justin and he is a liar just like all the rest, Brad, Jonell and Rob (the owner). It is unbelieveable how bad they lie. What about that Justin? According the payroll clerk my check was mailed over two weeks ago, what did they use Pony Express? I called several times getting no answer I talked to Brad and he assured me that he would have the check sent out next day air. When it did not arrive I called the next day and he said that the form that he had to submit must have gotten put into the wrong box because it did not go out. I again contacted them two days later. I told them if I did not have a check by the following Monday I would contact my lawyer. Rob (the owner) was then brought into the situation and told me that he guaranteed that I would have a check. Still no check I called again and spoke to Janell and was assured that the check had been mailed and should give it a couple more days due to the Memorial Day holiday. Still no check, I called back and the phone number was not in service. I called information and got the number for FMI only to be told (after I was put on hold) and spoke with Ted (someone that I had previously dealt with) that they were not affiliated with Lakes Area Trucking. This so called company and all of its people are shitty. They need to be put out of business and have legal actions taken against them.

the company I worked for hauled a load for the then All American Trading. We were never paid- over two years of haggling. 6 mos after the load the company changed their name to lakes area trucking (same address, telephone numbers and owners) We filed a complaint with the Att Generals office and finally turned them into the IRS (who are now into a heavy detailed investigation) . Hopefully, they won't be in business much longer.

For the record, as an ex-employee of the company, I was expected to lie and look the other way when issues such as these appeared. When we operated as JBFF, Inc. and as American Trading Company Company, I was daily fending off calls from collections and Drivers I'm guessing Justin must be doing the same thing I was doing....From my research, this company is currently undergoing an investigation by the IRS regarding their business practices, as well as an ongoing investigation with the Better Business Bureau. These company is populated by crooks. It's too bad that they not only prey on Owner Operators who struggle to stay alive, but also on the local populace, who do not know better. I knew Mitch, and he did everything Loots asked of him, and got nothing in return....as for the dispatcher in question, it is my understanding he was a RECOVERING alcoholic at the time, and one of the first ones and last ones out, a favorite of many of the drivers, a man who went above and beyond, but he was unceremoniouly canned when he refused to lie like I was expected too, and Justin looks like he fits the job description...but probably not for long.....

This gentleman...which he really isn't, did work for us. He was buddies with an old dispatcher taht worked here. We found out that this dispatcher, I won't say his name, was an alcoholic. He was slipping out in the middle of the afternoon, and getting drunk at the Otter. We moved him into another department, and he got mad..and left shortly therafter. This guy followed. The kicker is, my boss was helping him pay for his truck. Mitch gave him the title untill he paid him back, but he never did. When my boss went to go and finally collect on the truck, as per the terms of their agreement, he couldn't because this guy had made a duplicate title....and sold the truck to his wife for a dollar. Can you say SCAM!! If you are a trucking co. in TX, or anywhere else for that matter, don't hire this guy! He isn't worth the powder to blow him to....you know the rest.
