Leaders would like to apologize to this merchant for any misunderstandings he might have had about the contract he signed with leaders. We pride ourselves on full disclosure and have disclosed all fees via his contract and his terms and conditions. This merchant signed his contract stating that he understood all information within the contract and terms and conditions. This merchant states he incurred fees from the use of rewards cards' but in fact the merchant spoke with one of our customer service representatives on 3/4/08 that explained his credit card transactions are falling into his non-qual rate because he was not entering the invoice number when he ran his transactions. This merchant also states there was a hidden annual fee charged to his account. LEADERS discloses all fees on the contract but as a good faith gesture we have already processed a refund on 4/11/08 for the $99 annual fee. LEADERS lowered this merchant's rates and adjusted his rate plan on April 1, 2008 to better fit the type of cards he is accepting from his customers. As a courtesy we also offered to re-evaluate the transactions he had already processed and refund him the difference from the new plan. As we have already informed the merchant this refund totaled $145.26 which he should expect to see deposited to his account after April 20th 2008. LEADERS regrets that this merchant feels Stephen Hayner was rude and that the customer service manager was not available to take his call but the notes on his account indicate he was offered the managers voicemail. The fact remains this merchant signed a contract for 2 years with LEADERS and in doing so agreed to all fees within the contract including the Early Termination Fee. If the merchant would like to be rid of LEADERS as his complaint indicates he will need to fax a signed letter to our account closure department @ 818-702-2412 and he will incur the Early Termination Fee if he chooses to close his account before his contract is up.
