Complaint Review: Leah Zacha/ SunGold Chihuahuas And Carla Barkman/ Midnightblue Chihuahuas - Walkerton Indiana

I have known Leah Zacha for 15 + years and I can personally vouch for her integrity as both a person and a breeder. Leah has always stood behind her dogs, taking excellent care of them and loving them immensely. I have dealt with her both on a professional and a personal basis and have always found her to be well informed and honest in all dealings. I would not hesitate to do business with her again, and reccomend her highly to anyone who is looking for a chi.

Whether or not the person who wrote the original report is 'Alex Vian' or not, it is ridiculous to resort to the internet to slander someone's business and name. This information is searchable on the internet and won't go away. You feel as if you have right and are audacious enough to make these claims, yet you are too much of a coward to post your name so people know who they are responding to. If you cannot resolve it with the breeder and you had a contract, you should have taken legal action of some sort. To use several websites, including the breeder's website to exact your 'revenge' upon them is childish. When the buyers of these puppies contact you, Alex Vian, you have a right to your opinion and should offer helpful suggestions, but no right to aid in negative retaliation (your 'mission'). You should have referred them to taking legal action, not start your mission as you say and gossiping and creating delusions of these people. If you are a grown adult, I think you should reevaluate what kind of person you are. If the alleged emails from Carla of MidnightBlue Chihuahuas were as "bad" as described (which I'm doubting from the originator of this report and Alex Vian's response and the immature nature of both, the claim has little clout), you should have not entertained the idea of continuing communication like that. Instead you want to play games. It seems as if both parties have agreed there was a 72 hour contract for a vet check. If you did not abide by the stipulations of this contract, you have no right to complain about anything. The fact a replacement was offered was beyond generous considering how you've acted in this situation. These are innocent animals that deserve to be loved not talked about like they are some THING to be bargained,traded, and used to defame someone's character with.

The person that wrote this is completely wrong! I have gotten 3 Chihuahuas from Carla Barkman from Midnightblue Chihuahuas and all of them are healthy, happy, already spoiled when you get them little love bugs. I can't say enough good things about Carla, she is very dedicated to her Chihuahuas and is a great breeder and takes great pride in producing healthy happy baby Chihuahuas. I have been to her house and seen her in action taking care of babies who need a little extra love and attention and she is NOTHING like what this person is saying. IF she was inbreeding like this person says, you would be able to tell from the health of her dogs, which all her dogs are very healthy and spoiled rotten. So, if anyone needs to find an awesome Chihuahua that is healthy and beautiful, you couldn't go to a better person than Carla. Once you buy one of her little babies you are family and she treats you that way, if I have ever had a question or a concern with my Chihuahuas she is always there to help me and answer any questions I may have. I just had to go check out the site as well, gorgeous dogs. And maybe the OP does not know what CH stands for? Or maybe that is new since posted. Anyways, I would also like to thank you for something in particular, and that was that not once did I see that word tea-cup. You called them tiny :-), which is the truth. I keep saying to be careful of breeders who are too enthusiastic about that word.

I visited sungold's website, and I have been raising Chihuahuas for 8 years now, and they are the most beautiful Chihuahuas that I have seen on the internet so far! Besides mine, of course. If I lived in your area, I would buy one from you in a heart beat!

Almost a year ago I bought a precious puppy for Sungold Chihuahuas. I visited Leah's home and it is very nice. The dogs were kept very clean. And I have to say that my little Miley is the sweetest girl in the whole wide world. She is so loving and so funny. Her personality is awesome. And she is a good quality dog. I've seen other Chi's that looks sickly. But not Miley. She is healthy and she is a good dog. I found Leah to be a very caring person. Christy

We keep finding where Lori/Loretta Montgomery, Terri Don, and AlexisLeann Vian of Vian Kennels in Michigan, keep posting their lies about us! They keep posting and they keep getting taken down because the information they post is unfounded and untrue. They even posted on MY SPACE, where they stole our identity and set up a MY SPACE web site and acted as if Leah and I set up the account. They tried again to ruin our names by placing people on a Puppy Mill list on MY SPACE! oh, to throw us off track, (so they thought) they added AlexisLeann from Vian Kennels onto the Puppy Mill list! Real Smart! LOL! Who do they think they are kidding! We weren't born yesterday! PLEASE! That also was removed or lets just say, you had to be invited to visit that page on MY SPACE. They struck out AGAIN!!! LOL! The people on that list were very upset and I think some of them are suing AlexisLeann Vian for making up that web site and using their names. I sent them a certified letter on August 13, 2007, giving them 7 days (until August 20) to get me a statement from their Vet. I stated in the letter to them, that if they missed that deadline that the contract was null and void! I wouldn't exchange the puppy with another one of my puppies. The letter got to them on August 15, 2007 and Terri Don signed for it! I sent it certified because I didn't want Lori/Loretta Montgomery or Terri Don to state they didn't get the letter! Besides they had over 3 months to get this statement to me any way! GUESS WHAT, they didn't send me the statement like Lori/Loretta Montgomery, promised and stated in her comments, trying to say she was the person that wrote this ripoffreport, under So Alex is Me, on 7-31-07. These accusations also have me baffled. I recently purchased a chi from SunGold in June of this year, and I would not hesitate to get another puppy from her. Her kennels are spotless! My puppy is happy, healthy, and I couldn't ask for anything more. Everytime he goes into the vet, they are amazed at his perfect chi features and his friendliness and willingness to give everyone kisses. I am very proud to have a SunGold Chihuahua; and there isn't anything wrong with him. If you don't believe me, look on her website. Currently, he's the puppy on the far right on her home page. Does he look sick or mistreated to you?

You say that this whole ripoff report isn't from Alex Vain? Hmm. very interesting. Then it is in fact Lori Montgomery that has been saying all this or Terri Don! Saying all the lies and all the back facts! Hmmm. Interesting. Makes you wonder. LOL! I don't belive that it is anyone else other than Alex Vain! But you can pretend that this is Lori Montgomery and Terri Don all you want because if it wasn't Alex Vain, why didn't you put your name on the rebuttal you left? Hmmm. Fishy! So if it is Lori Montgomery or Terri Don then I wouldn't deal with you nor should anyone deal with you for a puppy because this isn't how you conduct yourself as a breeder! This is the last post I am going to post here! I am done with the back and forth stuff with WHOMEVER and I know who the whomever is! I have better things to do with my time then keep writing things that you have to twist around in your little head or little heads of Terri Don and Alex Vain! So keep writing because I am not returning to see this any more. It is so petty that it makes me sick! The only way that Lori Montgomery or Terri Don will be able to get a hold of me is by telephone! Well, I not only want to know why he can't be bred, if he could ever be bred, if he will ever grow out of this condition, I want to know what is wrong with him, when he was first seen ~ the date he was first seen and the date he was last seen, phone number where your Vet can be reached, what medication he was given, what treatment he was given and all the documentation from his files relating to Teddy. Then after reviewing what your Vet sends me and having my Vet look at what your Vet sends, I will then determine what should be done. The bottom line is, Teddy will have to be returned, (if my Vet agrees with your Vet) that is my policy for returning a "sick" puppy and getting another puppy in exchange. (You will get another male puppy and that will be determined by what I have available at the time you bring Teddy back) I was being nice at first because Terri Don was crying and carrying on so. I know that people get attached to these wonderful little Chihuahuas! I do care about people and I felt sorry for Terri Don. But after you go behind my back and talk to Leah about me and my kennel, trying to get Leah to tell you something bad about me,trying to get her to turn her back on me and our friendship, trying to have her trade a puppy that you want with me, so you can buy the puppy from me at a cheaper price because you think you can twist my arm like you did with the sale on Teddy and the blue merle female you bought, and finally, getting your "NEW" Friend (of just a few weeks), Alex Vain to write nasty emails to Leah, this ripoffreport other web sites, and all that has been done and said to me and Leah, by yourself ~ Lori Montgomery, Terri Don, and Alex Vain, there is no more time for me to be nice to you! I will be civil but I don't have to be nice, not any more! The three of you have brought this on yourselves and anything that comes with it by doing what you all did is in your doing! So don't be pointing fingers at us because three fingers are pointing at the three of you girls! Oh by the way, I don't sale the puppies that I trade. They usually stay here with me or they go back to the person I bought them from or traded with. There is a lot of trading in the Breeding business! Most breeders do it either on puppies or stud services. This keeps the cost down for both parties! So if you didn't know that Lori Mongotmery, Terri Don, or Alex Vain, it's time that you knew about it! Since Lori Mongotmery and Terri Don are so "new" to breeding they may havn't had known that but Alex Vain did because she stated in an email to Leah that she sent you ~ Lori Montgomery and Terri Don to another breeder that owed her ~ Alex Vain a dog. So that is a trade! So you got another blue merle female from this breeder that Alex Vain did a breeding with or some other service! If Lori Montgomery and Terri Don follow through with what they said they were going to do by getting me verification from their Vet on Teddy's illness, the questions I have asked above from their Vet, and bring Teddy back, I will replace a puppy with one that I have available at that time! Lori Montgomery will have to come to Indiana to pick up the puppy and bring Teddy back. Lori Montgomery will have to sign my Chihuahua contract and not Terri Don for a new puppy. So Alex Vain, you can tell Lori Montgomery and Terri Don what they need to do! The ball is in their court!

well that's wishful thinking on your part but i do have a vet statment saying the dog is useless for breeding and you will be getting a copy. if your as upstanding as you claim then maybe we will get a replacement or a refund. so let your wonderful supports see if you do the rite thing.

I am saddened that someone would post such lies about Carla and her chihuahuas. I have known Carla for over a year now and she has become a friend. The two puppies I bought from her were the most well adjusted and socialized puppies I've ever brought home. My two girls were fearless and prespoiled! From the beginning, they marched right into my room ready to sleep in my bed. From their great personalities, it was clear that Carla loved and provided great care for my girls. Carla cuts no corners in the expenses for her dogs and puppies. Along with feeding a premium food, Carla sends her puppies home with not only their first Parvo/distemper shot, but both my girls also had their first corona and bordetella vaccines. These extra vaccines are important too and most breeders leave it up to the owners to have them done at their own vet's office. Why would she spend this extra money on each puppy, if she didn't care about them? I have been very blessed to have met Carla and to have two of her puppies. I recommend Carla and will definitely return to her if I ever wanted to add another chihuahua to my clan! Mark

I don't believe any of the things that this complaining party has claimed. I have never bought from either one but I can say I have heard great things about SunGold and nothing about the other person. never even heard of her kennel. and she can claim its because she is small and doesn't breed tons. but seriously if you were is "great" as you claim you are then you would be out there and your name around. As far as the 2 future breeders or breeders whatever they call themselves. I think they may have just ruined any rep. they could have had. 1 for throwing out accusations when they didn't do the correct procedures for purchasing a puppy (ie...the vet visit and calling in a timely manner if they believed something was wrong) and 2 for having someone else do there dirty work? that just shows me that they can't stand up for themselves. I will buy from SunGold, in fact its a goal of mine and if me purchasing one of her dogs keeps you 3 complaining brats away. Fantastic! Leah don't pay attention to this drool, you know you are better than that!

Alex Vian did write this report and whatever comes out of her mouth is a lie! Her emails and her writing on these reports are the same style! So deny it all you want Alex Vian, we know it is you! You will probably have someone step up for you and say they wrote it, when in fact you did it! You aren't fooling anyone! The last time I heard someone say "nananana and boohoo" they were 3 years old! Real mature! Alex you can state all you want about me, the fact is Terri Don nor Lori Montgomery, NEVER sent me the written statement from their Vet, either by email or by postal mail! Because if they did, I would be contacting their Vet and asking many questions about what he/she said on it! Why would I tell them they couldn't have another puppy when the facts are clear in what their Vet supposely wrote about Teddy! The question is, why did they wait 6 weeks to contact me about a health problem? When Terri signed a contract that said they had 72 hours to get to their Vet to have the puppy check out? The contract also stated that there was no guarantee that the puppy they purchased would be breeding or show when it got older! Terri Don nor Lori Montgomery were not sent an email from me cussing at them! You can probably fake that to, by writing up a fake email from me stating that I cussed at them in the email but I didn't. Whoever bought dogs from you from this ripoff report are not using the brains God gave them because if I saw this and read all the rebuttals, I would think twice about ever approaching you for anything. How would they know that after they bought the puppy/dog, that their names wouldn't be up here because they said the wrong thing to you? Because you are just that kind of person! If you aren't in the middle of causing TROUBLE or as you say your so called "MISSION" you wouldn't be happy. I am so happy that you have time to sit at the computer for hours on end trying to find different web sites to put your lies on. Who is taking care of your dogs, they aren't getting the care they should when you have nothing do but sit at the computer and hunt and hunt, write and write? I have saw several sites that you tried to post these lies and they deleted them because it was not verified! And not only that, the way you talk to people with your smart mouth and cussing! For your information, since you seem to know everything about us, April Collins hasn't bred for over 6 months! So put that in your pipe and smoke it! She only has 3 to 4 dogs! You only threw her name in there because you was on my web site! You are enjoying this back and forth game of who can out do who! But it is really stupid because your words are lies and you can trust the thingst that come out of your mouth. You try to blackmail me by telling me that if I gave half the money back to Lori Montgomery and Terri Don that this will all stop. I am sick to my stomach to see the incorrect information that is being placed on the web regarding Carla Barkman of Midnight Blue Chihuahuas. As a former dog buyer turned friend I cannot believe how incorrect the information "reported" against her is. As for the mention of her "giving away" her older dogs once she no longer needs them to breed that is ridiculous. When her much loved dogs are no longer of breeding age she either keeps them as pets and treats them as a member of her family, or places them in a responsible and loving pet home. She does not "give them away" but charges a fee to ensure that they are being purchased by a loving and secure family, not someone who will turn around and sell them for profit or treat them wrongly. She not only stands behind every one of her puppies and dogs, but is there as a constant supporter once you take one of her beloved babies home. I have been the "mommy" to her Diamond for three years now and she has been beside me every step of the way. Because I had not had a dog prior to purchasing Diamond she required me to have several lengthy discussions both on the phone and by email and then meet in person, in addition to filling out the adoption application. She talked to me about every various aspect of responsible pet ownership from vet visits to vaccinations to home safety and also gave me tons of print outs with information about the Chihuahua breed, their health traits both good and bad, etc. Her policies were carefully explained for return, health guarantee, and the fact that if for any reason I could no longer keep her dog I would need to return him to her loving home that he could never be dumped in a pound or passed off to someone else. Since bringing my baby dog home there have been several times when I have had questions or been worried about him for various reasons and Carla has always been there for me willing to do anything necessary to help me through. She even arranged for me to bring him back for a visit because she missed him and also so that she could ensure that he continued to have proper care. It turned my stomach to see her attacked for taking the time to personally hand make blankets to send home with her baby dogs. Diamond has slept on his blanket nearly every night since I brought him home, a constant loving reminder of his previous home. Carla's house was clean and orderly when I went to pick up my dog. There was no sign of dirty ness or smell from any of the dogs or puppies, the only way you could imagine that it was a breeder was by the sight of happy puppies and dogs playing together as members of the family. These dogs are not a job or a source of income for Carla, they are her LIFE. She cares for them and loves them as she does her family. She is a loving, caring soul who wants only the best for anyone who crosses her path. I set out to simply buy a dog from her and in the process gained a lifetime friend through the support she gives me as a puppy parent.

I don't care how many of you know these people personally or how wonderfully you have been treated. Terri was ripped off, she first asked for a puppy and was told NO, she has a vet letter stating the dog can not be bred and CARLA emailed her back a VERY nasty email, swearing and telling her never to contact her she would not exchange or refund the puppy. I made arrangments from another breeder friend of mine to give Terri a FREE dog. So lets clear this up. I stand to gain nothing. I don't bred enough dogs to make money by ruining anyone. I do this because it's a JUST CAUSE. I only met Terri 5 weeks ago and after reading Carlas email I was appauled and went on this mission. I have said this can all be fixed, just make good on the sick dog. They won't. So thats that. now I'll state what I have stated to all the people emailing me and asking me what the problem is. No I have nothing to gain, I don't breed enough to make money by running others into the ground. I do this because it is a JUST CAUSE. And NANANANA I don't care what anyone thinks or says about me. never have been the kind of person who did. so tell everyone I'm mean. BooHoo Tell everyone I swear. so what. Tell everyone I don't know you. I DO. Tell everyone any wonderful thing you can think of. I don't care. lmao I breed 5 litters a year, I give away pups to deserving people from each litter. I am writing in response to the breeder that apperently feels threatened by Sungold and Midnight Blue chihuahuas....I have had several interactions with each of these two ladies. First of all, I have never known such an incredible couple of women especially when it comes to a business relationship. I first met Carla after months of searching for a chihuahua for my son. We had traveled to several cities and almost as many states until we came across Ray. My son was absolutely in love with him even though it had been previously decided we would not bring home a male dog. Carla insured me that she would take Ray back if we couldn't make it work. Once we brought Ray home we struggled with sugar issues and had taken him to the vet but we could not seem to help him. Carla and her husband suggested we bring Ray back and offered us a new puppy. That was not an option with my son so they offered to let him come back home to them for a bit of time to see if it helped. It did!!! Carla's family offers so much attention to these little guys that some of the sensitive ones don't want to leave them. Ray spent a couple of weeks with Carla's family and came back home and was fine ( he is now 2 yrs old and is very healthy and happy!) I have since bought a couple of other dogs as to get started in breeding myself. Carla and her husband sold us dogs at a much lower cost just to help me out financially as I know she has done for other people as well. They have huge,kind hearts and I hate that someone could possibly put them through any of this. Last but not at all least....Leah has been just as kind to my son and I not because of getting to know me on her own but because of her trust in Carla's judgement. Leah has sold me a couple of dogs one of which was out of a cry for help that I put out to her and Carla. Two of my females ended up too small to breed and one ended up not strong enough to breed from an illness she had developed ( COMPLETELY out of anyone's hands and unrelated to any kind of breeding practices of any one), all this happened around the same time frame and I had no one that could be bred. Leah agreed to sell me one of her proved females that had produced a good litter but Leah had known that this particular female was picky about who she shared her love with so Leah did not even accept any money from me until I learned whether or not she would be happy with us. Then because of financial issues on my part, she only asked me to give her a puppy if I bred her. Leah never had to do this, in fact, I cannot believe that she did. She did not know me well enough to trust that I would not take off with her dog and/or fail to give her a puppy. However, she did trust Carla and offered me her help. I would turn to this woman for ANY help or questions regarding this breed!! She cares deeply for her dogs and provides excellent care for them as does Carla. If, (God forbid) anything were to happen to me, I would only trust these ladies with my dogs and I guarantee that says ALOT!!! I have SEVERAL references regarding my love and care level of my dogs so I have no doubt. Bottom line is... I cannot believe someone would ever want to hurt Carla and it is even harder for me to believe that anyone could ever throw Leah into this mess!!

I am just setting the record straight on what I know! I've been talking with Carla from MidnightBlue Chihuahuas for around a year now. She is not one of my friends or family member but someone that I have come to respect and am very grateful for all the help she has given me! I am a breeder of the Shar-peis, when my husband purchased a Chihuahua it was love! And I never thought I would get into breeding them but then when we thought we wanted to breed them I did a lot of research and most of the help I got was from a total stranger, Carla. She was very nice and all of her help was great. I could really tell she loved her dogs. They are her life as well as mine! When I was getting ready to purchase a male the first person I went to was Carla to find out what I should look for and to help me find exactly what I was looking for and she could have pushed me to buy one of hers and she did not! She help me find the one that was right for me! I bought my first male from a breeder in southern Indiana and drove 3hrs. Carla has never claimed that her dogs have been in the show ring and most of her dogs are sold as pets. Before you judge someone go see for yourself and check out her website. Believe me I know I live in the next town over and in our small towns word gets around fast. Everything I tell you is strictly what I've heard or seen for myself. Carla does carry a 72hour warranty on her puppies, which is what most breeders have, and must have veterinarian proof to protect the breeder from people who want something for nothing! My question to Vian Kennels is have you ever been to Carla's house? And if NOT how can you slander someone like this? And to the person who bought her puppy. Why would you even buy the puppy if you believed she was a puppy mill? Most all puppy mills sell more than two breeds of dogs! Which Carla only dedicates her life to breed Chihuahuas and Chihuahuas ONLY! As a breeder I do my best to have the most healthy dogs possible but there is always a chance something could go wrong and that's why we as breeders give our families time to have there dog checked out by a veterinarian as Carla does. If there were never mistakes we wouldn't need puppy contracts. I know Carla has been wanting to cut back for a while now and hasn't because she has a hard time letting go of her dogs and would rather care for them herself! I believe before you slander another breeder you should check it out for yourself!! Not on here Say! Carla's only fault that I could find in this case is not having a Slander Clause on her contract to prevent people from trying to get something for nothing and when that doesn't work they start talking and making things up. I've looked in to all breeders involved and I only have one more question. On Vians Chihuahua site there is a link for awards but I go to it and there is no awards??!! Lastly I just want to Thank Carla for all her support and help! I came to Carla as a perfect stranger and didn't even buy a puppy from her but yet was always there for me whenever I had a question! Thank You! Believe me when I tell you I've meet a lot of breeders and she has been the only one who has volunteered her time and been there when I needed someone!

Obviously, "Alex" has never met Carla Barkman at Midnightblue Chihuahua's. We found her website back in February, 2004. There on the website was a picture of a beautiful little fellow named Peanut. We started the communication immediately and found that he was still available. We filled out the "Puppy Application" and were very impressed that Carla is so careful about where she places one of her "babies." It's been just over three years now, and we can say that we have one of the best little dogs ever! He is very healthy, smart and came to us already trained. We would HIGHLY recommend Midnightblue Chihuahua's to anyone searching for a good breeder with quality stock. Carla really does love each one of her "babies" and enjoys receiving updates each time she hears from us. She is not in this business to try to "get rich quick!" What Carla does is provide an excellently bred puppy to bring a little love into others' lives. She also does not give away the adult dogs ~ they are posted for sale on her site and I know she is just as careful in placing them as she is with the new "babies!" Please don't let this get you down! YOU know that the comments in that "Ripoff Report" are NOT true, so you just keep up the good work!! Let me start this by saying 'I'm totally shocked that an individual would be so dim-witted as to post accusations against someone they don't personally know.' Should legal actions be pursued, the author would be asked the following questions: Do you or have you personally met the accused? Have you been to the accuser's home? What where the conditions? Do you have witnesses willing to testify in your behalf on the claims you've made? Can you provide written documents, in this case i.e., police reports, court documents, complaints and witness statements, etc. against the party to whom you have inflicted these allegations against? If not you are not only wasting the courts time, but your money which would not only be forfeited to the legal system but also for damages incurred to Leah & her family. Let me quote you (legal) definitions that you need to become familiar with: Defamation of character - In English and American law, and systems based on them, libel and slander are two forms of defamation (or defamation of character), which is the tort or delict of making a false statement of fact that injures someone's reputation. Slander - an untruthful oral (spoken) statement about a person that harms the person's reputation or standing in the community. Because slander is a tort, the injured person can bring a lawsuit against the person who made the false statement. Liable - Legally responsible. One who is found liable for an act or omission must usually pay damages or, if the act was a criminal one, face punishment. Punitive Damages - Sometimes called exemplary damages, awarded over and above special and general damages to punish a losing party's willful or malicious misconduct. A term used when a judge or jury finds in favor of one party to a lawsuit. I think by now you get the point. If an ax is to be grinded it should be with the individual concerned not an acquaintance. In this instance guilty by association does not apply. Even though this 'RipOff' site claims to not allow lawsuits by pure virtue of being a third party, doesn't neglect the fact that should requests from outside proper authorities be necessary, it can still be relinquished. (IP addresses are very attainable). With the above stated, I will go on record to say that we in fact do have the details of the poster. Just remember, 'turn about is fair play' your name & kennel can be easily added to 'RipOff' and displayed in a negative manner. In August 2006, I purchased a puppy from Carla Barkman. I had a lot of contact with Carla prior to making my trip to her home. She provided a great deal of information regarding the puppy that I was interested in and was very inquisitive of myself, my family, and my home. Upon arriving at her home, she allowed me to meet both parents of my puppy, the grandmother of the puppy, and other dogs she had. All appeared to be healthy. She right away brought my puppy to me and we then went over all the information. I left feeling that everything had been fully explained, my questions answered, and happy with my purchase. I had no health problems with my puppy. Carla has kept in touch with me over the last year, periodically checking in the pup. My experience was not what was decribed by "Alex". I was happy with Carla and has always felt that she truly cared about the pups.

I have bought several Puppies from Sungold Chihuahuas. I have been to the home and seen where the Chihuahuas were kept. And I must say I was very impressed. This lady will show you everything at her kennels. She doesn't hide anything. Why would she. She has a beautiful hone and Kennels that most dog Breeders would die for. Everything at her kennels was spotless. She also makes visit to your house to see if her puppies are well cared for. She is a very responsible Chihuahua Breeder and very knowledgeable about the breed. There must be a lot of jealousy in this person to decide to bad mouth someone they don't even know. But to this nasty and mean person "what goes around comes around". Also clean up your own house before you trash someone else's. Better yet just go to Sungold and see for yourself! Also check the Attorney General's Office in Arizona to see if this Rip Off Report website has any complaints against them. I can't see people just bashing other peoples good business name. I am sorry that Alexis of Vian Chihuahuas (and her friends) are upset with me (sungold Chihuahuas) and my friend Carla (midnight blue Chihuahuas) I have done nothing wrong, and have been falsely accused by these slanderous accusations. Not one thing that was posted about me is true. I have been breeding toy dogs for almost 20 years, and have made lots of close friends over the years. Some are with other breeders, and some are with those who have purchased pets. I have always stood behind any dog purchased from my kennel. I have never misrepresented a dog I have sold. My first priority in placing my dogs are that they get the best homes possible. Both me and Carla love our dogs dearly. They get lots of love, and top health care. People who know and befriended me over the years know that these dogs are my passion. People who come to my home can see how clean and well maintained my home and my dogs are. I pride myself in breeding quality sound dogs with outstanding personalities. The people responsible for this false report is upset with Carla of Midnight blue Chihuahuas over a puppy purchased that has a genetic health problem. Carla has asked them to bring the puppy back, and will exchange it for another puppy. These puppy buyers have not cooperated with Carla what so ever and did not comply with the contract they signed. Still Carla's heart goes out to this puppy, and would take it back. The reason I am involved with this attack is because I am friends with Carla, and we work together in our breeding programs. I have known Carla for many years, and she is a very kind hearted person. She loves her family and her Chihuahua dogs. Alexis is posting that I am claiming to be a show breeder. I have never claimed anywhere on my website that I am a show breeder. I do state that I produce show prospect and breeding quality puppies from Champion bloodlines, but that my main focus is that all my dogs get good loving homes. I do own several Chihuahuas that are show quality, and currently have one being shown now. I am involved with showing for my own enjoyment. I do not make any promises to people buying a puppy from me that it will be a show dog. Who ever wrote this ripoff report has it ALL WRONG. Leah has the nicest kennel i have ever seen. She treats everyone of her dogs with love and kindness. They are pretty much apart of her family and she loves them dearly. She has in no way ever abused any dog what so ever. She is by far the best and most honest person you can ever buy a dog from. And I have personally seen her show her dogs and seen them earn their champian title. She has never sold a sick puppy to anyone. She has a garentee on all her dogs. If a puppy is born with a defect she will give it away to a pet home to a loyal owner who will love the dog. So please take this rip off report off this site. It has very misleading information and makes me sick to my stomach on how somebody could say something that mean about Leah Zacha's kennel.

For your information, the older Chi's, when retired from breeding, are not "dumped off" into anyone's lap for free. I purchased a 5 year old Chihuahua from Ms. Zacha 3 months ago and she is the sweetest, extremely well mannered, healthy dog that most have ever seen. The techs and doctors at my Vet's office could not stop raving about how glad they were to see she was bred, how good her temperament was for a Chi. Also, Ms. Zacha required that I drive to her home in order to meet me before placing her in my care. Upon arrival I was greeted by several healthy, bright dogs that were kept in IMMACULATE conditions. She was flexible with her return policy, and truly cared about the dog, saying that she would always have a home there, should she not take to her new environment. I am happy to say that my life would not be the same had I not adopted this little angel. Thank you SO MUCH Sungold Chihuahuas!

Alex stated to me that she will keep posting bad comments in my guest book with bad language and I couldn't do a thing about them! Alex stated to me that she will keep posting things all over the Internet about Leah and I until I did the right thing and give Lori Montgomery and Terri Don half of their money back for a sick puppy they bought from me. This is blackmail! It clearly states on my contract that we don't give refunds but will replace the puppy. They were also told that they needed to get something in writing from their Vet that states what is wrong with the puppy. We don't give people another puppy without proof of what was wrong with the puppy. It also states that a person buying our puppies has 72 hours to take their puppy to their Vet to have it checked out to make sure it is healthy. Lori Montgomery and Terri Don, as far as I know and has not proven to me with their Vet, they did go to the Vet within 72 hours. Lori Montgomery and Terri Don didn't let me know there was even a problem with this puppy they bought, until 6 weeks after they bought the puppy. When they did finally let me know there was a problem, at that moment and time, I was going to let them keep the puppy that was sick and give them another puppy. But then they started contacting other breeders that know me and tried to get information about me instead of asking me about my kennel and my dogs! Then the email writing and bad language starting happening and I just decided I had enough and I wasn't going to deal with people that went behind my back to try to get another breeder to give them information about me and my kennel and also try to get them to trade a puppy with me so they could buy it at a cheaper price from me. I don't do business that way! Laura Montgomery and Terri Don may do that when they start breeding but I don't. Alex stated on this report that Leah and I are claiming to be a show breeders. This is false! I never claimed that! Leah and I both have on our contracts very clearly that we don't guarantee that a puppy purchased will be sucessful in a breeding/show program! Leah states on her web site that she has show potential puppies, which means her puppies are capable of developing into actually being show dogs, not that her puppies were show dogs! There is a difference! Plus Leah is having some of her Chihuahuas being showed at this time and hopefully will be a champions! Our dogs haven't been proven to have genetic defects! This is false! Alex stated this too! She is just assuming this on her own! I didn't know it said any where that to breed dogs you had to belong in a kennel club and had to show dogs? Most of my dogs go to "pet homes" and not to breed or to show. All of my puppy buyers are told that they can contact me if they have questions or problems. But when someone accuses you of something and goes behind your back how can tell them anything? I really didn't get a chance to make anything right because Laura Montgomery went to other breeders to ask questions about me and my kennel, instead of asking me! Lori Montgomery and Terri Don went to Alex at Vian kennels to have her harrass Leah and I so I will give in to Lori Montgomery and Terri Don. When I retire a female or a male, I usually have kept them or have placed them in a pet home. This is after who ever buys my puppy fills out a Chihuahua Application on web site. There are 30 questions on my Chihuahua Application asking information about people and their plans for my Chihuahuas! Leah also has a Chihuahua Application on her web site asking people interested in her dogs. So I don't get where Alex thinks that we just "dump for free" our older Chihuahuas or even or Chihuahuas for that matter! I know that there are breeders out there that have more dogs than I do! All of my dogs are taken care of! They are all registered with AKC and CKC. Leah and I have both been inspected by AKC and have passed with flying colors! So all of these allogations that Alex or this unknown author is stating is a bunch of lies. Who is the liar now??

First of all I would like to say that these comments about SunGold Chihuahuas are untrue and false. I have personally went to Sungold Chihuahua's house and her dogs are clean, well fed and most of all loved. She does not "throw away" any of her dogs. I can't believe someone would actually tell lies and about her. Her kennels are spotless! Her dogs are very good quality and she is a very responsible breeder with keeping the standard in the breed. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a high quality puppy!
