Since I cannot look this person up, I will speak from general experience. I have been here longer than any other employee. I helped develop the programs and guidelines. We are a voluntary member of the Better Business Bureau - which is NOT easy to join (go to bbb.org to find out). You MUST meet their guidelines and they check you - often. We have an "A" rating. We also are a member of their "Online Reliability Program," subscribing to required information that must be disclosed to the online consumer prior to purchase. So how can this be? Not all consumer's "Read the Instructions and Information" (see our policies at http://www.licensetutor.com/general/pricing.asp and at http://www.licensetutor.com/general/passordontpay.asp). All this information is easily accessible prior to purchase, and available on almost every page of the site. The pass or don't pay is available on every page period. License Tutor offers three programs. One 14-day cram program which has NO gaurantee. The other two programs offer a full refund, if you complete ALL 17 exams in the program at 80% or better. Not 15, or 16 exams or what an individual personally feels they need. But ALL 17 EXAMS. The theory being if you take all 17 of our exams over and over till you get 80% on all 17 exams and you still fail your real estate salesperson exam, you better believe we'll give your money back. In 2008, 3600 consumer's used our program. We processed 55 refunds for those that met the requirements and still did not pass their real estate license exam. We denied 49 refunds. 18 of those signed up for the 14-day program, did NOT read the directions and wanted a refund but didn't qualify for a refund as it clearly states it's not gauranteed. 25 Refund denials were due to the fact that the consumer did not pass all 17 exams at 80%. Again, they did not read the instructions. Remaining denials were because the request was filed way after the 30-day period stated in the policy. Again, they didn't read the instructions. We are not a scam, and we keep our word. People who are not accountable for their own actions must find other's to blame for discrepancies in their life. In this case, we are the scape goat. I'm sorry to dissapoint this person once again, but had he read the directions and qualified as instructed, he would have gotten his money back. The testimonies on our site come from real people who have successfully used our program - they read the instructions. We strive on a daily basis to make information clear and easy to find on our site. We are always open to suggestions. For all online consumers, please read the instructions carefully. It's just part of being a good, well informed consumer and getting the most of what you pay for!
