LITTON LOAN SERVICING & THE MISUSE & ABUSE OF THE SYSTEM PREDATORY LENDING HOUSTON Texas
My loan was with Fremont mortgage first and then sold to Litton Loans. I already had a bad experience with Fremont since they erroneously reported me late for 2 months when we had OVER paid them and then they gave me a REFUND like 4 months later. Exactly a refund. I should be thankful at least I got the money back but now they don't even acknowledge they ever refunded. Its like it never happened! Ive even shown them bankstatements; hence they made it impossible for me to refinance 8 months ago. This was all prior to this banking crisis going on right now. Then comes in Litton, being in an adjustable loan, I contacted them as I have been a good and consistent client, trying to stay financially responsible. After attempting to, I can't refinance now bc i need a stated program since we are both self employed.
No more of those programs! After sending them all the information they requested they said it would take up to 30 days to review the files! Then they said I made too much money but couldn't tell me where they got that number from. Now they want to start process all over again. I have documented everything from day one.The numerous calls they make to me. The numerous calls I make to them where no one answers, Im left on hold for 10-15 minutes, no exaggeration. I hired someone to do the auditing of the Loan and have uncovered various errors according to TILA & RESPA laws. Im trying to just get rid of my problem but I will come back ON FIRE with a law suit if they don't make this happen. Its not anything unfair or unrealistic.
Litton Loan is the definition of predatory lending. I feel for those who are struggling even more than I am.
They have even been charging me fees for no reason since 2008. When I questioned them they want to send me to someone new with no response. Again, I write it down & move on because I smell a lawsuit coming. Now they assigned someone to handle my account. Let see what happens now. Go to hud.gov people & search for predatory lending..there is alot of info there to help you! DOCUMENT EVERYTHING! I have asked them to refinance me, to change the AR to a fixed rate at todays interest or even interest at inception. Nothing. They just want to see if you will really follow through & foreclose if possible.
I lost a refinance deal due to freemont, had to remain in their crapy deal at a higher interest rate that then adjusted AGAIN because they did not correct their mistake! My mortgage has gone up 1500 since inception. Ive had to pay nasty % on business loans bc of it too. In addition, Im having to change all payments to make this mortgage bc I WANT MY HOUSE! The law is on ourside but WHERE IS THE JUSTICE..Who the hell is really monitoring these people. Do they have a computer??? google anything...The time & money I spend in trying to do this is taking away from my business. Which pays them no less. I called before it adjusted last & they told me I called to late. They wont make a change. These people are liars working for thieves. The strain this has emotionally taken on me is unbelievable! Good Luck everyone. Look for an attorney. Some good ones out there, they know banks want to negotiate. Get a contingency agreement which means they get paid if you do. It will work. Be patient! But dont forget to DOCUMENT DOCUMENT DOCUMENT!!!
