L.J.D'Amico Leonard J. D'Amico This individual stole 5800.00 with no intention of doing the work he was contracted to do. Orchard Park New York
Before signing a contract with Mr.D'Amico, he told us he did work for HGTV as part of his sales pitch. On April 13,2013,we sign the contract. He told us that the work on our cabinets would be done in approximately 6-8 weeks. After that time had passed, he never called or contacted us. We placed many calls to his business and cell phones, but he never answered.
When we finally did get him on the phone, he claimed he had to let go of some of his workers, the check we wrote him took 2 weeks to clear, and he was sick. Going back and forth to the doctor. After several more attempts to get a starting date to no avail, we called channel 4 call for action. Who instructed him to speak with us. Upon speaking with him, he now alleges to have been in a car accident, robbed by his son, and we needed to speak to his assistants from now on.
The check took only 2 days to clear and still no contact from him. He is now threatening to file bankruptcy and we don't want him to be able to claim this on his bankruptcy petition because he stole this money (5800.00) from us.

mr damico took my 4500 dp and gave 100 excuses why he wasent showing up and then abandeding the job leaving my house damaged and me with no money.... and the front of my house has posts up and nothing else and my house looks like crap and i have no funds to get a attourney, i live in elma and i feel your pain. he told me too he worked for hgtv and said his son quite ,
and he wasent well and hasent done anything in 1 year.. my contract date was sept 2012 and know he has 4500 of my money, and so u know he cant file bky, he is in the middel of a chapter 13 bky right know that he filed in 2011.. so dont let him scare u..
