That would've been obvious before picking the car up, since ALL THE OIL WOULD HAVE DRAINED OUT. When did you notice this? If it was before you picked the car up, then they are responsible, if it was after, then it is your fault... Pretty much a no-brainer, but then you didn't tell us the whole story.
