Lotiontown.com Never received item ordered--total scam! Indianapolis Internet
I ordered a bottle of tanning lotion from this company on May 19,2009. I have never received it though the purchase price was debited from my checking account the day the purchase was made. The US Postal Service has no recored of my package ever entering the mail stream, though I was issued a tracking number by the company--probably bogus. I called the phone # on the web site. I got a recording instructing me to leave my name and number and someone would return my call. No one ever did.
I then wrote them an email. They responded saying that the product had been sent and I should receive it later this week or next week. By next week it will be a nearly month since I ordered it.
After googling the company I found that they had been the subject of a lawsuit filed by the Indiana Attorney General Office in July 2008, with many complaints of products never received. I wish I would have known this ahead of time. Looks like I'm out $28.00. I doubt I will ever receive anything at this point.
