LRLO with Capital One Scammers San Diego, California
The first I heard about LRLO (Legal Recovery Law Offices) was when they filed a garnishment with my company for an awarded law suit filed in Orange County Superior Court.
NEVER received summons or notice to appear!!!
I am looking for everyone who has had a similar experience with LRLO.
At first, I just let it go, as it was the only collection agency to file a law suit. It has been a year and I assumed it was taken care of by with the garnishment. So on reviewing my credit report I noticed it did not list Capital One as "Paid", like the other I have settled out of court.
I called LRLO today and they said $800 was still owed? They said my garnishment stopped paying after paying $1200... but no one notified me or my company??
Anyway, now that I have read the other complaints listed on ripoffreport and dealing with other companies to payoff my past debts, I realize how much of a scam LRLO is!!!
I know by law they were required to serve me, which they failed to do!!! This could be a class action lawsuit if they have repeatedly practice not serving consumers of Capital One Credit Cards.

First find out if these morons are even allowed to collect debts in your State. Then contact a consumer attorney and tell that person what happened. I wish you the best of luck!
