M Salvatore rip off Milan Milan, Italy
I was approached by a distressed but genuine looking 'italian' guy in a rent-a-car en route to Dublin airport at my local petrol station. He showed me his passport, airline tickets (to fly out the same night at 9pm), rentacar dockets, clothing catalogue and finally the jackets that one would be mad to miss out on. He said he was a rep for a clothing company and couldn't bring the jackets home with him as he would be paying import/export taxes etc. He said he was in with Brown Thomas (exclusive store in Dublin) that same day but had extra stock that he couldn't get rid of. Again I add he was very genuine looking etc.
He offered them to me as 3 for the price of 1, one being 700! I took a look at the jackets, they looked genuine to me & said no way did I have that money on me to pay for them, he eventually offered them to me for 125 and I took him up on his offer thinking I had myself a major bargain! Got home & googled the name of the jackets being Reportage and low and behold I see its a rip off for Gergio Armani! Hence this report now. I also tried to get onto his web address of salvatoreimport.it and again same did not exist.
