Complaint Review: Magical Memories/Jean Kline - Kissimmee Florida

 Magical Memories is owned by Jean Kline and this lady is the most heartless person I have ever met. Her and her manager Miriam unlawfully put me my children out on the street with nowhere to go and now we are homeless. I spent over $2000.00 to be in her short term homes, while awaiting to start a lease in her long term home. During my time at the short term home, paying over a $100/day, we were given a home with old, broken and defective furniture. These furnitures were so bad, that my son fell and hit his head, when she was informed of this incident to include the broken furniture, she called the cops and escorted us out, left us with no place to go, as she refused to honor the lease for the long term, stating we are now considered a liabilty.

She not only did not honor the lease, she took $200.00 from my security deposit, that was for the long term without my permission and stated this was to repair her defective furniture. The furnitures appeared to be repair multiple times with too long of a screw that result in the legs becoming loose, they were visible areas of cracks, peeled areas on both the chairs and tables. The bed frame was weaked, fragile and had faulty repair also. The broken box spring was hidded under the bed and was not visble, however the bed appeared lopsided. There were nails not properly inserted and when she was informed, instead of repairing or replacing these furnitures, she took money out of my security deposit, that was not even for that location.

I cannot believe that I have been vacationing with Magical Memories for over 10years and because she is so cheap and heartless, she would rather to throw me and my family out on the street and then take our money. She and Miriam did not care that we had no where to go, based on the fact that we were not given any prior notice that the lease would not be honored. This is an unlawful eviction/breach of contract. They also refused to assist me in filing an incident report to assist my son in receiving some medical attention.

We are now currently homesless, my kids are not in school, all because of Jean and Miriam malicious actions. How can Jean terminate a lease on the day it started, I already had the light and cable in my name, based on the directive I received from Wanda for me to start services on the 17th of October. This was a one year lease and the law requires for her to at least give mr 2 weeks, I did not violate any aspect of the lease agreement and the incident at the short term should have been a seperate issue and could/should have resolved in an amicable manner.

I was not given any report nor any reason that was leagally used to determine that I was responsible for the damages and what it would have cost to repair/replace, except this woman and Miriam decided to blame it on me. I reported this to them in good faith in the interest of public safety, not to be retalaited against.

I have checked this company rating with The Better Business Burea and they were rated with a F, and they rating was also based on defective furnitures, dirty places and stealing from people. I also see on this site that Jean was convicted of staeling and that is the reason, it was easy for her to take my money without my permission.
