MagicJack, Dan Borislow False claims for 30 day free trial. They bill you immediately and won't reverse it unless you jump through hoops. West Palm Beach Florida
100% RISK FREE 30 DAYS FREE TRIAL....No free trial, they charge you immediately after they receive your order. They claim the Free Trial will be ending, and they extend it every week.
They, they lead you to believe that if you upgrade and pay $49.95 (which you think is INSTEAD of $39.95 + tax, you will be covered for 5 years of service. They change the ads you see on the internet daily, so if you are not wise to what they are doing you have no record of what they really told you. Clever! Of course when you chat with them on live chat they are all agreeable about your problem, and yes you to death, stating they have reported the problem and you should be getting the problem taken care of right away...Example, the 911 service doesn't recognize my address. It did when I first signed up, but suddenly, it doesn't.
They charge you the additional $49.95 for extended years and the magicJack right away, and then before your 30 days is actually up, they charge you the $39.95 again with tax, and tell you that you only paid for 5 years instead of 6.
They are scamming...Once they have your money they don't care what happens to you.
I do have to add though, that except for the intermittant static and patchy voice thread and occasional echo, it really does work on the internet. I just don't like being lied to and taken advantage of. If my budget could have handled it I wouldn't have applied for the 30 day free trial, but you think you are not going to be billed and they GET YOU RIGHT OFF THE BAT!
OH, and they charge shipping and handling twice for one package. Also, they ship it immediately so they can't stop your order if you catch it right away on your credit card, in the chat they tell you they are putting a hold on the amount charged so that it doesn't actually come off your card, but mark my words, you can see how quickly below they had my money! THEY LIE!!!!AND THEY CLAIM THEY ARE SENDING YOU A TRANSCRIPT OF YOUR CHAT, but of course that never shows up in your email either!

I finally received a refund, but not the entire amount owed from MagicJack today. I really like the product, it works, too bad they are so deceiving in their way to get you to purchase by offering a FREE TRIAL for 30 Days and then charge you immediately. Guess that is the money they use to keep the business going, and to pay their MUSHROOM, always kept in the dark employees. Ta Ta for NOW!

We can not find any orders that match the information provided that are within the 30-day trial period. magicJack RMA Process Order Search Order Email Address Order Number Tracking Number Credit Card Number *At least 2 items are required to generate an RMA. I GAVE THEM THREE ITEMS TO LOCATE MY ORDER. Today is May 24, 2008 and I wasn't supposed to pay until June 17, 2008. Hmmmmm and for the past 3 days I have been trying to get someone in LIVE CHAT to talk about the 911 ISSUE........SCAM, SCAM, SCAM Dan, are you out there? You would use your CHILD and HER BELOVED PETS IN A COMMERCIAL to promote this RIP-OFF SCHEME????? NOT GOOD -- NO SCRUPPLES AT ALL!!
