The ad simply read Maine Coon Kittens $100.00 ea, many colors to choose from. She has multiple listings on several pet classified places such Hoobly,Domestic Sales, usfreeads,. we thought this seemed o.k. We would give it a shot. So we emailed the ad about buying a kitten we wanted a beautiful Maine Coon of which she sent photos after photos stating she had several available so many to choose from.

We picked a little one and the next thing we know he had passed or was put down. So to choose another. She claimed she had been visited by her Vererinarian and was clean and ready to go with no problems. Again trying to find the one we really liked so very many photos to choose from incredible amounts we choose she said o.k..

Next she says well that one is not available, so we choose another and the same thing again and again. Finally we picked and she said it was o.k. so we thought why not two we choose again but i wasn't happy with the color of the one that we choose to replace the one that had died so we were up to finding another to go with the second of which we still hadn't choosen.

Now 250.00 plus dollars and it's still going on for two kittens of which we still will have to have flown to us, she says the price for the female I choose is now 250.00. we don't know what to do at this point. Again tonight email from her, kitten not available unless we pay more.we just want our two kittens we paid for healthy, hopfully vet checked.Oh did we forget to mention Feline Leukemia, and ring worm, yet her vet checked her place and said she was a certfied healthy cattery... Interesting!

No medical report was ever sent to me.  The warranty is only valid within three days of a vet check report and to be received to the breeder.  This never took place.

Margaret Heart False complaints Norwich Kansas I am writing a nice letter when people do not know the circumstances. This woman and her husband wanted a kitten that was going to be shipped to Washington DC. FIrst of all, she and her husband did not have the money for the kitten. By the time she did, it was summer, and the plane did not ship. After two trips to pick up money from Norwich, Kansas to Wichita, kansas, they decided to change flight plans. The ad was from last year which is when I had some problems which is why I bought 12 maine coons from a breeder whose husband lost him job. I adopted out all of the kittens except for Duke and Duchess, the maine coons and Prince and Princess the persian and Himalayans. Her kitten was 200 which I paid for out of my pocket. Also there was another couple in Oklahoma who purchased two kittens from me which were 100 each and I resplaced them with two that I paid 200 each. This is old news so look at your dates carefully. Thank you for your consideration and cooperation in this matter. Most vets state keep them separated when you just get a new animal. Sinecerely, Margaret Mae Heart, Licensed Hobby Breeder, Licensed Substitute Teacher, Criminal Justice Professional PS The other thing she complained about was the health when they had a health record which you can not ship without one. The she said that it was six weeks old and you can not ship until eight weeks of age. I also spoke with the other two families which adopted out kittens from me this last weekend and they are both doing fine. One lady is Judith Booth and you have her address and phone number. What about deceptive trade paractices or such. If you have all the proof, small claims is always an option as well.

she now claims on her emails she doesn't sell a kitten until it is 12 weeks, wish that had been true in our case as we received one of the kittens at the age of five weeks and he died after a week of all the love and medical care we gave he failed his poor little soul left us exactly seven days after he arrived he was sick and malnurished. Sad so very sad.

Finally received our two kittens,Margaret seems to be interested in the money only and not the health of the innocent animals. Ours came to us malnurished, flea infested and one with a parisite which killed the little guy who by the way according to my vet records was only 5 weeks young so pathetically sqrawny his poor body just couldn't handle it even with antibiotics and propernutrional supplimintations. We are still working to get the older kitten healthy. I do have documentation from the vet and all costs incured from the time of purchase to date.

Took both kittens into the vet they both are skinny, the younger is not the age i was told he is approximately 4 weeks infested with fleas has a toxic infection and undergoing antibiotic treatment. He has now passed away just too young to be without his mommy and very smallmuch too small vet was surprised the airlines allowed him to fly.We have try repeatedly to have Margaret give us back our 85.00 she refuses our emailes she said in the lastone she sent we were blocked. Too affraid to get another from her, but feel we should get our money back for the sickly kitten she sold to us. waiting for test results on the other kitten. crossing our fingers. by the way we had to force feed the baby kitten and he was also cold the vet said he was too small to maintain his temp. we tried everything but lost him. bless his little heart. how could she feel good about selling ill kittens?
