I was searching craigslist to purchase a vehicle. I found information regarding a sale of a 2001Honda Accord and responded to the ad. I received an email the following morning addressed as:SGT. Matthew Becker SFC USA ARMAY NATIONAL GUARD; this was the email

I am selling this 2001 Honda Accord Leather V6 EX because my platoon has been sent to Afghanistan and don't want it get old in my backyard. The price is low because I need to sell it in the next 7 days. It has no damage, no scratches or dents, no hidden defects. It is in immaculate condition, meticulously maintained and hasn't been involved in any accident.I do have the title, clear, under my name. The car has 70,506 original miles

He then forward another email instructing me to use the Google checkout payment method and specifically wanted the payment be made by MoneyGram. Before sending the payment I called Google to confirm. They suggested I report the Scam.
