SHAME, SHAME, SHAME, ON YOU, MCI WORLDCOM WIRELESS, RIPOFFS!
To whom it may concern,
I am a senior citizen. MCI WORLDCOM WIRELESS enticed me with saying I was preapproved for a free cellphone. Of course they made it seem legit. So I accepted the offer and also got one for my wife. We received one bill about two months later. (We were given separate numbers and bills, but both were in my name.) We paid it.
After the first bill, I didn't here anything for about six months. At that point, they sent a letter saying they were in transition and that I would receive three bills within the next few days, but DON'T pay the first one or the second one. When I received the third bill. I went to use the phone and it was cut off, as well as was my wife's! Then I received a letter that the bill was going to collections. By this time I had attempted to reach them countless time and never reached anyBODY. Now, they are repeated the exact same routine and our phones are not even on. They are total ripoffs. Today I called and was on hold thirty minutes. When someone finally answered,they hung up on me when I began questioning them.
