meineke muffler greg sperry manager we have a "oil change special" @ $19.00 dollars calgary, Alberta
meineke advertises a $19.00 oil change, my car was due. I went inside to ask if they were very busy, they said no & they drove my car inside.They said they will check my car, at which they were happy to do.After my oil change i was told that my car needed $ !,400 in badly needed brake repairs and that i was lucky that they can do the work. I ended up paying $167.00 for the oil change and leaving. I was not given any other reciept except showing oil change .
I fully believe this is a scam to get your car in thier care and say it is in need of repair.
My brakes and rotors were done less than 30,000 klm ago.
I called greg sperry the manager and told him about the situation and asked for some of the money back . He can charge the money for the oil change and the 1 1/5 hrs. he said it took to check the car out, he called me a pissy b**ch and said he was'nt going to return anything.
He hung the phone up on me.
