Merchant Processing Solutions MerchantPro Don't trust the company's promises, very bad business!! Annapolis Maryland
I signed both of my stores with the sales person Barry (last name might be Stiefel) from Merchant Processing Solution, who promised there will be no early termination fee (ETF) if the store is closed. He denied the promises and eventually not picking up your calls when my first store is closed. After many unplesent calls, they finally agreed to close it.
For my seconed location which I have fulfilled the 3 year contract. I called and tried to close the account, they first told me I had to use another year because I need to call 6 months before the contract ends, then I asked them to show me where it says that on the original contract. They had no respond and had to agree to close it because it's completed the 3-year contract. I have also signed the closure form, which stated that Robert Gardner (person who is in charge) agreed with the ETF of $0. However, a month later, I received a charge of $124.90. and found out Merchant Processing Solutions failed to close my account. Robert Gardner changed his mind and wanted to charge a EFT for my first account because it was only 2 years. I had to call iPayment (the company who sent me the bill) to explain numerous times. And they said they couldn't close it unless Merchant Processing Solution tells them to.
After proving all the evidence to iPayment, my account is closed. But Merchant Processing Solution still claims that I have to pay for the ETF. Very bad experience! Worst decision I have ever had!
BTW, if you feel any unfairness about this company, file the report to http://www.bbb.org/. And wirte a letter Merchant Processing Solution's ISO bank, which is Wells Fargo. Good luck!
