I understand how this family can be upset over paying more than their relatives for a water system. I read this article carefully and there were many things that pointed to the fact that this family seemed to be completely happy with the company and their decision to purchase until they found out that their mother bought it for half the price. They chose to purchase the water system, refer family, and even give a letter of recommendation to the company. Only after they were told that their mother bought it for half price do the complaints start to roll in. Just as if you purchase a vehicle, not everyone will end up paying the same price. It is through negotiation that we will get a better deal. That is something we all have to face when purchasing from any dealership. The only real problem I see on the dealerships' part is the lack of delivering whatever "gift" they were promised. I have worked in dealerships before and I wish to tell ANYONE making a major purchase that once it is purchased, the property belongs to the consumer and the finance company. It is no longer the property of the dealership. Therefore, the property cannot be refunded after a three day right of recission. I encourage this family that if they're not getting what they expect from the product, that they need to have it looked at by the dealership, if it has a warranty.
