I wanted to take the time to respond regarding the complaint from Gary Tipton. On the date of December 6th 2012. I am sorry things did not workout with Mr. Tipton. However, I did everything I could to make him a happy/satisfied client and I would like to address his complaints, First of all, regarding his refund of $28.00. I processed Mr. Tiptons form for his refund immediately. However, because of procedure and the size of the Merit company the refund process took longer then he wanted. I stayed in communication with Mr. Tipton and asked for his patience while also having him speak with management. However he wanted the refund within a couple of days and unfortunately it just was not possible. Second, Regarding Mr. Tiptons complaint regarding Merit prices. Our prices at Merit are extremely competitive. At the time and day of purchase he agreed on the attractiveness of our prices. In my experience other vendors will offer lower prices and not be able to stand behind them at the time of purchase just to get the client to commit or be lured away. Also the gold and silver markets are always changing by the minute. With this said the secondary price(s) he received is not (with respect) fully accurate as he found prices much later. Also he would not tell me where he received his prices or at what price they were? Also other companies most likely will add shipping and insurance fees as we do not! Addressing Mr. Tiptons dislike for my send-off God Bless. I spoke to my manager about that. Honestly, I see his point. I meant zero disrespect. Its part of who I am. I can see where it is not business appropriate in the eyes of others and have apologized to him and have stopped that send off completely. It was nothing of attack or from disrespect Finally, I take my job and reputation
seriously. I am a family man with a wife and two children doing my best. I am a true supporter of your company and how it protects and serves not only the consumer but also rewards the worker who is doing it right! I am a good business man with an honest approach in business and in life. I am respectfully requesting this complaint be completely dropped.
