Michael Williams is a rip-off *Consumer Suggestion
An ex-boyfriend borrowed money ($1250) from me during the period of December 2000 and January 2001 for a trip to Florida and a trip to Seattle for his best friend's wedding. He has paid me back $500 total in cash during the month of February and March, indicating that it was indeed a loan and not a gift. We broke up in April and he still owes me $750. He also borrowed my 35mm camera and he has my apartment keys and parking permit in his possession.
I want these items back. Every time he states he's going to see me to give me back my items, he conveniently blows me off or doesn't answer my phone calls. This has gone on for over a month. Can you help me with this situation?

Michael Williams is a rip-off (#6186) They filed the following rebuttal to the above Rip-Off Report: Their email: [email protected] Their name: Fraud Chick Their relationship to the company: Consumer Suggestion Rebuttal: When my niece graduated she asked me for advice. I told her that if I could give her only one piece of advice it would be to never lend lovers or friend's money, period. Some people prey on the opposite sex for money. Your ex did that and got what he wanted. You can give it a go in small claims court but judges don't have much sympathy for this type pf affinity fraud--romance fraud. I'm willing to venture hundreds of thousands to millions are lost to crimes of persuasion or "romance Fraud." Warn your friends and use your story as an example.
