Ebay Ripoff Best Seller, Michael Segrene tried to spoof a second chance offer London Internet
On June 22nd I bid on a solar electric system located near me in Arizona. After the auction ended, I started receiving spoof emails about second chance offers to buy the equipment at my bid price of $6,100. I got fed up with these fraudulent offers so I replied to one.
After several emails I actually asked the spoofer to send me money to complete the purchase, his name and his address. Not only did he send me money, he gave me his home address in the UK. What a moron! I wish all criminals were this stupid.
Here is his spoof message:
Dear _____________,
You expressed interest in an item titled "SOLAR PANEL PACKAGE" - Item number: 5982644635 by bidding,however the auction has ended with another member as the high bidder. In compliance with eBay policy,i making you this Second Chance Offer at your bid price of (US $6,100.00).I issue this Second Chance Offer because either the winning bidder was unable to complete the transaction.If you accept this offer, you will be able to exchange Feedback with me and will be eligible for eBay services associated with a transaction, such as fraud protection. This offer expires, july, 15 , 2005 09:01:36 PST. To purchase this item just reply to this mail or contact the seller at : dinte18@*****.com.This Second Chance Offer is 100% protected by eBay Thank you and Have a Great Day!

Hello Larry,
Today was a hard day for me..i work until this hour.Tomorrow i'll send you the money using westernunion and i'll email you the MTCN number
