Due to my dissatisfaction with the performance of Microguard Security Ssytems, owner Nelson Gil, Sr. and I reached an agreement that we would terminate our business relationship and that Microguard would refund in full my prepaid fee for a full year's alarm monitoring service. Over two months have passed with no refund and Microguard refuses to communicate, including refusal to claim a certified letter that I sent to them.

With the help of the Better Business Bureau, in November, 2018 a compromise solution was reached that was satisfactory to me.
