Midas Auto Service Didn't fix my vehicle after charging $800+ dollars, refused to refund my money Longmont Colorado
The Midas Auto Service guarantee isn't worth anything at all. After spending $800 plus dollars at their shop for a starting problem & light functioning problem, my vehicle was still doing the same things as it did when I took it in. They took it back in several times, but still could not fix the problem. Their excuse was, "they couldn't get the vehicle to not start and didn't have a clue what was wrong with the inside dome lights" when in their posession.
Additionally, they would not refund my money, again because they could not observe the problem. My question to them was, "how & why did they replace the parts they charged me for in the first place if they couldn't observe the problem"? I've yet to get an answer to that question. Its very obvious that when one gets their vehicle back after repairs and it still has the same problems that it had before you took it in, that the problem wasn't fixed and someone quessed at the cure. I have since took my vehicle to another shop and the problems were found and repaired.
I sent Midas a copy of the work report and the problem that was found, again requesting a refund, but to date still have not heard from them. Another thing about Midas, they will be the first to let you know, if you don't like their service, to take it your vehicle somewhere else. You can bet that I will!!
