Back in November of 2012, I ordered several items from Midway USA that were on backorder due to the fear of a renewal of the assault weapons ban. in all I placed four separate orders based on estimated arrival back in stock. I ordered several magazines (2 of each type was the max order) and an order of ammunition consisting of .308 and .223 ammunition. In March of 2013 I received an email notifying some of the items I had ordered were in stock. I was given the choice to accept a partial order or wait until the order was complete before shipping.
I chose to accept a partial order of four AR-15 magazines. The shipping charged was the amount quoted for shipping the ENTIRE order. I considered it a lesson learned and decided to accept no additional orders until they were complete to avoid be gouged on shipping.
Beginning in May of 2013 I began receiving emails that my .308 ammo was in, and was given the choice to have it shipped without the .223 ammo that was part of the same order. I declined due to the weight of the ammo I didn't want to get overcharged for shipping again. In late June 2013 I received an email alerting me to update my credit card info as my card expires at the end of August 2013. I was not concerned as I had two months before card expired and my new card would arrive long before the original expired.
Today July 9th 2013 I received an email stating my backorder had been cancelled due to my card being declined. I did not authorize a billing so whether my balance today was adequate was a moot point. As soon as my order was complete I would have transferred the funds required to this account to cover the charge.
When I contacted Midway USA I was advised that back order policies had changed and items in stock would only be held 90 days before being removed from an order. This WAS NOT the policy I agreed to when I placed the order.
I have waited 8 months for the bulk of my order yet Midway USA is going to dictate to me when and how I receive partial shipments!
I would advise anyone to spend thier hard earned dollars anywhere but Midway USA and since I am a Missourian I will tell this story to anyone that will listen.

I was contacted by Rae at Midway USA this morning. She apologized profusely for the way I was treated and also for the erroneous information I was given. My orders were reinstated and I am 100% satisfied. Rae is a credit to Midway USA and I will recommend them to anyone!
