Mike and Chris Crowe RIP- OFF -TOOK MY MONEY AND NEVER DID THE WORK!!! powder springs Georgia
Mike Crowe, cleaned my gutters for me early March, I needed other work done on my roof and fireplace boards. He said he could do the work. We started off with repairs patches on my roof, that he guaranteed will not leak again ( it is), he also replaced a board near my fireplace.
I mentioned to Mike that I had other work that I needed done, but knew that the cost would be over $1,000.00. Mike told me that he was willing to work with me, and get everything I needed done to my house, and he would put me on a payment plan, were I would pay a certaina amount per month. We walked around the house and wrote down everything that I needed done both, inside and outside the home. Mike informed me that he would price all the work that I needed done and we would go from there. He then asked me for $400.00 to BEGIN the work.
I gave him the $400.00 in good faith, because I had a deadline for him to complete the work. After Mike received the money, it was very difficult to get in contact with him. I called him on several occasions to ask him for the price list on the work he would be doing, I never received a breakdown of the cost. Everytime I was able to get him on the phone he had an excuse. Family problems, illness, son in the hospital.
After numerous calls and not hearing back from him. I demanded my money back. He then TEXED me and told me not to call him again, and informed me that he could not give me my $400.00 because he used it to buy suppplies, and will have to charge me a restock fee. Obviously, I was taken by surprise, because we had not discussed What project he was actually going to do, and I never saw the price breakdown of the price list. I have created flyers and passed them on to my neighbors, because he frequently drives by looking to clean gutters.
I still have not received my money and my next step is to take him the court.
